I agree 100% that General Motors and Chrysler should not have been bailed out. Going through a normal business bankruptcy would have required selling off the various parts of both companies. There would have been all new management giving a new spark to the newly formed companies. As it is, Chrysler is no longer an American Auto Company but an Italian automaker.

The purpose of the auto bailout by failed former President Barack Hussein Obama wasn't the automakers but rather the automakers' unions. Gone would be General Motors and Chryslers legacy costs. Something Obama could not allow to happen.
