To answer your question, and I appreciate you asking, even though we are on two opposite sides of the equation, we still want some of the same values and things that are American. We will probably disagree on some things so here is my version of the so called liberal agenda.
Health care: We should incorporate a single-payer health care system. Families lives are ruined by a medical emergency, when they can't afford to pay the medical bills, from Cancer, Heart condition or some other medical emergency. It is a moral issue, to take care of people who are sick. If you are a person of faith, then this is an issue that you should feel strongly about. Because in America, it is cheaper to kill sick people, than it is to heal them!
Drug Costs: Drug companies are out of control with the cost of life-saving drugs that, people can't afford to pay for them, especially those on fixed income, like the elderly. Make life-saving drugs affordable to all American's who need them, by regulating the drug companies who are lining their pockets at the expense of the vulnerable.
Abortion: A woman should have the right to choose to do whatever she wants with her own body. Religion enters the discussion and dictates people's views, wrongfully. We rely on science and facts, not theory or beliefs. The faith-over-facts crowd are wrong on this, and they even support the death penalty, most of the time. So it is kind of ironic that they consider removing cells and tissue, murder.
Life begins with an independent heartbeat!
Affirmative Action: Affirmative action is wrong. A person should be hired strictly by their qualifications and not race.
Gay Marriage: Homosexuals and Lesbians should have the same human rights as Heterosexual people, they should have the ability to be legally recognized as a couple, and even adopt as they see fit. They should be entitled to the same things as married people, even though it is not designated by religion, or recognized by an organized religious establishment. People should have the right to privacy of their own bedrooms!
Environmentalists: Environmentalists unfairly get painted with the same brush as that small 1% of wacko's who spray paint people with red paint for wearing fur coats. Ecological wisdom, is the correct term. We can strike a balance with nature through conservation and we can co-exist with nature responsibly. Environmentalist don't value animals more than human life, that is just plain absurd!
Global Warming: Global warming is not a theory. It has been scientifically proven! Just because the republicans are in the pockets of the lobbyists that lobby against environmental standards and clean air doesn't mean that global warming is not real. Al Gore did a wonderful job of exposing how this administration purposely manipulated the facts and even twisted the arm of the EPA to lower the standards to almost non-existent in his film An Inconvenient Truth. Ralph Nader has said repeatedly that the EPA has been gutted of their ability to enforce.

It has become the perfect mix of capitalism, military, industry and profit. No more CRIMINAL WARS OF AGGRESSION, against nations that have never attacked us! Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, this Bush administration admitted that fact. There was no Yellow Cake Uranium, there were no Mobile Weapons Labs. This administration didn't cherry pick the evidence; they just made stuff up! I knew that Bush was going to invade Iraq, even before he stole the election of 2000. If he got into office by some means, he was going to attack Iraq! All you have to do is just look at his investments. He is a war profiteer!

They use loopholes and have the privilege of accountants and CPA's who know how to play the system, to get the out of paying their fair share of taxes. Close the loopholes that allow the wealthiest to pay less in taxes! The average American, doesn't have this privilege of wealth and ability to manipulate the system. The rich have always been making their wealth on the backs of the working class of Americans!

Delusional. Drug Companies are not raking in a higher percent of PROFIT than anyone else. Our Drug Companies are the leaders in the world at finding researching and creating NEW drugs, which costs a LOT of money. That money gets recompensated back to the drug companies during the short time they have of sole use of that drug. Your desire to steal money from those companies would see the death of innovative new drugs and loss of life in the future because of it. PROVIDE SOME EVIDENCE that profits are higher than normal for the Drug Companies.

Just because the republicans are in the pockets of the lobbyists that lobby against environmental standards and clean air doesn't mean that global warming is not real. Al Gore did a wonderful job of exposing how this administration purposely manipulated the facts and even twisted the arm of the EPA to lower the standards to almost non-existent in his film An Inconvenient Truth. Ralph Nader has said repeatedly that the EPA has been gutted of their ability to enforce.
MAN MADE Global warming IS NOT an established fact and AL Gore's Movie is a joke. More and More Scientists are opposing the politically correct and their misguided efforts to damage the worlds economy on a whim.
Anti-War: We should only go to war when it is absolutely necessary! These new neo-cons subscribe to the military industrial complex. It has become the perfect mix of capitalism, military, industry and profit. No more CRIMINAL WARS OF AGGRESSION, against nations that have never attacked us! Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, this Bush administration admitted that fact. There was no Yellow Cake Uranium, there were no Mobile Weapons Labs. This administration didn't cherry pick the evidence; they just made stuff up! I knew that Bush was going to invade Iraq, even before he stole the election of 2000. If he got into office by some means, he was going to attack Iraq! All you have to do is just look at his investments. He is a war profiteer!

Government Control: There is a theory that liberals think that government should be in control of people's lives. This is another false truth. The government is there to provide security and safety for it's people, and a safety net for people who cannot help themselves. Progressives or Liberals as you call them, believe that we shouldn't spend money that we don't have. Financial responsibility. Every time the Republicans have been in office, they have irresponsibly spent us into debt! The Democrats believe in financial responsibility, so they Tax-and spend.

Death Penalty: I am against the death penalty, it is a moral issue. If you are a person of faith, you know what the words Thou Shall Not Kill mean! Even if it is state sanctioned capitol punishment. People have a violent strain in them. It is embedded in the American ethic. People like to see an eye-for and eye! Prison is a place of punishment. You are locked up so you can think about what you did. You loose your freedom. Instead of the death penalty, they should be made to do hard labor for the rest of their lives!
Taxation: The wealthiest 1% do not pay their fair share of taxes. They use loopholes and have the privilege of accountants and CPA's who know how to play the system, to get the out of paying their fair share of taxes. Close the loopholes that allow the wealthiest to pay less in taxes! The average American, doesn't have this privilege of wealth and ability to manipulate the system. The rich have always been making their wealth on the backs of the working class of Americans!
And your last point. Are you blind? Unable to read? Or just ignorant? We have numerous post recently on this board, color graphics included, of who pays the most taxes and who pays the least. The rich pay the largest share, always have always will. Well until idiots like you drive them out of the Country.

6.) If the theory is so well known why do over 31000 scientists disagree with this theory? You do know that plants benefit from CO2 right? And you do know that the average Carbon dioxide content in the air is between 0.03% (300 ppm) and 0.06% (600 ppm). That 600 CO2 particles out of a million! The sales income is stable.
