What are Santorum's good points?

The Santorum Connection. Tom Delay and Jack Abramoff went to prison for the illegal pay to play lobbyist scandal, ....

Screwed it up right from the start, Chris. Delay went to jail for a supposed crime that had nothing to do with Abramoff. He was convicted of violating state law, and had nothing to do with federal investigations.

BTW, Delay is INNOCENT. The law he was convicted for breaking was not broken as he stuck to the letter of the law. The donations he got were legal and he legally sent them to the RNC and later the RNC disbursed funds to Texas Republicans running for office within a 30 day deadline. He was cleared of violating this law, but was convicted for conspiring to do so.

That is like convicting a guy for conspiring to sell pot but not having enough evidence to convict for selling pot itself.

STUPID BS DA railroaded Delay.

He is pro-Constitution, pro-gun rights, pro-life, and in favor of keeping the government out of the afairs of religions and religious organizations.

He is also not Romney and not Obama.

The Examiner is a conservative paper @ Washington too. :eusa_whistle: :clap2:
The first question Sen. Santorum should have been asked would be, "Don't you think maybe you actually should have been living in Pennsylvania if you were their US Senator? Or how about, "If you really were not living there, do you think it was right to take money from a school district in PA for 2 of your children to homeschool there? Why did you have a history of remarkable timing in sponsoring bills in favor of specific industries that had just donated money to your campaign?

Rick Santorum appears to be genuinely of good character, a moral man in his own way, honest, a good family man, patriotic,

and nuttier than a pecan pie.

Seriously he's the 'good' man in the race. If character mattered to conservatives he would be their pick, hands down.

To the libtards a conservative is either morally corrupt, stupid or insane.

You think Santorum nutty? Big Fucking Deal, asswipe.

Rick Santorum believes if a woman has sex, she should not have contraception, not have the option of an abortion and not receive state help in raising a child.

Oh, and this is for a married woman.

He's either bat shit insane or he hates women.

Which is it?

Don't forget he made his kids hug a dead fetus.

That's gotta count for something.

He's would be an easier win for Obama and cost the GOP a few down ticket races.

Rick Santorum's victory has been the combination of a few factors.

1) While Romney and Gingrich spent the last month trashing each other, Santorum has pretty much kept his skirts clean. He hasn't gone negative and the other two were too busy thrashing each other.

2) The improving economy has essentially knocked out the support for Romney's main argument. He's the only guy who can fix it. So has looking at this guy's actual business record, which was mostly about making rich douchebags richer.

3) The Social Conservative issues, by virtue of the Komen controversy, the Birth Control controversy and the Prop 8 Ruling, has moved the "God, Guns and Gays" arguments off the back burner and onto the front burner again.

4) Bottom line. GOP rank and file voters really don't want romney- and Santorum is the last credible "not Romney" left.
