US Appeals court upholds Marylands unconstitutional ban on scary guns

why have a war on drugs? drugs don't kill; people kill by overdosing.
True, but those drugs are coming over our southern border.
federal drug ban, federal gun ban; what coincidence.
Like drugs most illegal weapons come from south of the border… Fact
we should not have illegal drugs or illegal weapons; unfortunately, the right wing is willing to "ditch Capitalism" for their socialism on a national basis.
You mean by the right wing the so-called Republicans, Republicans and conservatives could not be any more different anymore… Washington DC is a RINO farm.
simply being in the minority is no form of political excuse.

better solutions at lower cost, should be a minority specialty.

The illegals are the ones that provide the popular vote margin for that Crooked Hillary bitch. Thanks god that she wasn't elected. She would have kept the borders open and brought in a milllion goddamn Muslims.

Ohio did an investigation, and from what was posted in : Snowflake Argument That Illegals don't Vote Continues To 'Die' a 'Slow Death'

There were around 30 illegals voting in the state election in 2015, and if extrapolated to the entire county, would account for less than 2,000 illegal votes for the entire country. Far short of the 4-5 million Trump claimed.

Arms are a form of private property; there are laws concerning a class of private property termed and styled, Arms.

All people are by nature free and independent and have inalienable rights. Among these are enjoying and defending life and liberty, acquiring, possessing, and protecting property, and pursuing and obtaining safety, happiness, and privacy.

Let's assume that lawfully acquired and possessed Arms are simply that.

You can't bring a loaded gun into a post office.
should the Postal service go, "red State" like Arizona?

their new motto could be; "don't complain, be Patriotic", or we will "grab your guns".

I'm waiting for somebody to claim second amendment rights on federal property. Where there was no right to bear arms on federal property. Not in federal buildings, not on federal land, at least not before Obama opened up federal parks to guns.

Well regulated militia may not be infringed. Usually, it is National Guard whether State or federal.

Heller v DC threw that clause out. And substituted an individual right to self defense. Hence the thread about the court upholding a ban of private citizens owning weapons the militia uses.

The standard set in Heller is unusual, and dangerous....those items are unusual and dangerous......an AR-15 is common, the most common rifle in the country and no more dangerous than any other firearm.

It's the most popular for mass killings.

No it isn't actually...you should do some research before you post......

How about federal immigration laws? The filthy ass Liberals sure as hell don't want to enforce those laws do they?

Obama kicked more criminal illegal aliens out of the country than all previous presidents combined. FACT.

No...he lied about that too...they turned people away at the border and then counted them as deporting illegals....he cheated...again.

Will somebody please define illegal weapon more precisely. Illegal to have, illegal to own, illegal to carry, illegal to sell? What is the definition of illegal weapon?

Let's get on the same page.

Illegal as in a felon caught with a firearm...that would be illegal.

Wrong.....it reaffirmed the individual right and the right to bear arms...it said nothing about banning militia weapons. I posted quotes from it earlier...please look them up.

there is a right to this as well.

There is no such ban on these weapons from Heller...the 4th made up a brand new way to keep guns from law abiding people...

You wanted Obama to let them into the country first?

Illegal as in a felon caught with a firearm...that would be illegal.

In some states somebody addicted to prescription pain killers with a gun is also illegal. Or somebody who beat on his wife, or even just threatened to do so, with a gun is also illegal.

How broad is your definition?

Until the federal government makes it legaly to carry firearms in all 50 states, the right doesn't transfer from one state to another.

The 2nd Amendment does that already.......

You can't bring a loaded gun into a post office.

Yep...and that is unConstitutional.....

And why can't you? Unless you draw the weapon and use it to shoot people or rob the place...where is the crime in simply carrying a gun...?

Nope....but he can't lie about increasing deportations when they were never let in in the first place....

Felon is a legal term......the other categories, addicts, violent wife beaters......need to be carefully addressed...anti gunners will use any real attempt to limit guns to attack law abiding gun owners.....someone actually convicted of beating their wife should lose their guns and she should get a gift certificate to the local gun store to buy a gun......

Accusations of wife abuse without a conviction are too tricky....it has to be an actual conviction.....

Wrong.....it reaffirmed the individual right and the right to bear arms...it said nothing about banning militia weapons. I posted quotes from it earlier...please look them up.

But it did so, while dropping the "well regulated miltia" portion of the 2nd amendment as being superfluous. If you ignore that clause, you no longer have the right to military arms alluded to in Miller.

Sorry...you are wrong....please read Heller. It did not cancel out Miller....the decision does nothing to take military weapons off the table..in fact, it protects them.
