Trump will not use term 'two states' during meeting with PM

US President Donald Trump will not use the term 'two states' during his meeting with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu this Wednesday, White House sources reported.

The sources also said that Trump wants to be the President who achieves peace between Israel and its Arab neighbors. The report by Channel 10 also stated that Trump would not pressure Netanyahu regarding construction in Judea and Samaria.

Prime Minister Netanyahu faced pressure to freeze all construction over the 1949 armistice lines during his first meeting with former US President Barack Obama in the White House in 2009.

Prime Minister Netanyahu took off today for his meeting with President Trump. The Prime Minister is expected to land in Washington DC tonight. Tomorrow he will meet with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, and on Wednesday he will meet with President Trump.

As he boarded his plane to Washington DC, Netanyahu said: "I'm going to Washington to have a very important meeting with President Trump. I'll also be meeting with Vice President Pence, with Secretary of State Tillerson and with Republican leaders and Democratic leaders on Capitol Hill."

"The alliance between Israel and America has always been extremely strong. It's about to get even stronger. President Trump and I see eye to eye on the dangers emanating from the region but also on the opportunities. And we'll talk about both, as well as upgrading the relations between Israel and the United States in many, many fields."

Trump will not use term 'two states' during meeting with PM

This is consistent with the fact that at Trump's behest the Republican platform did not endorse two states for the first time in years.

If Trump looked at history, he'd see that achieving peace isn't going to happen because it's not in the interests of the right in Israel and it's not in the interests of the right in Palestine.
Both de jure an de facto peace has already been achieved. De jure peace was achieved by treaty between Israel and the PLO and de facto peace has been achieved by Israeli security forces. When people talk about achieving peace between Israel and the Palestinians, they are either ignorant of the facts or trying to use a fictional conflict to add a sense of urgency to creating a Palestinian state.

And yet there isn't peace. The region is just waiting for the next war to happen, Palestinians are getting a raw deal massively and there are still millions of people in camps because they have no home.
Not one word of your post is true. There is peace in all the areas in which Israel provides security, including area C. The homicide rate in these areas is less than half the homicide rate in the US. No Arab countries are preparing for war with Israel. The Arabs are getting a raw deal from their corrupt, incompetent leaders, not from Israel. The homeless people in Gaza are suffering because their corrupt, incompetent leaders chose to go to war with Israel, and the homeless people in Judea and Samaria are suffering because the EU encourages them to build illegally, knowing full well these homes will be demolished, for propaganda purposes.

Peace in all areas huh?

Palestine: Hamas elects new leader in uncertain time

"Hamdan, the Hamas foreign-policy chief, said the group would not be affected by the new US policy and would persist with all forms of resistance to Israeli occupation until statehood was achieved.

Asked if resistance means just engaging in military confrontations with Israel, Hamdan said: "That's only a part of it, and only if we are attacked first.

"Resistance for us could be peaceful one such as boycotting Israeli consumer products, challenging Israel legally and defending ourselves militarily should Israel attacks us."

On whether Hamas is willing to engage in peace talks with the Israeli government to reach a peace deal, the officials said: "Talking peace with the Israeli, under the current conditions, is futile.""

Doesn't sound like peace to me.

Hamas just made a convicted terrorist its new leader – and you're worried about Jewish settlers?

Replacement theology has been debunked long long ago.
Christians don't usually study Hebrew, G-d forbid they realize Paul barely knew any Talmud or Hebrew at all.

However many Christians are actually beginning to repent and keep the 7 Noahide laws after realizing what the bible originally said, before the time when those who persecuted the first Christians decided to have a monopoly on 'everything Christian'.

Quiet an interesting subject if discussed politely.

No, if you try and make everything simplistic you won't come to the right conclusion. What is war? North Korea and South Korea are at war, officially. However there hasn't been much fighting going on for decades. However other countries see fighting all the time but aren't officially at war. In Israel, for example, this is the case, not all war is done by physical fighting. Israel making new settlements is basically a part of their war.

Israel making new settlements is basically a part of their war.
Indeed, settler colonialism, by its nature, is an aggressive act. People do not get displaced voluntarily. Aggression is necessary.
Indeed, Islamic settler colonialism in the geographic area of Pal'istan mirrors the history of war, rapine that conquest that defines Islamist history.

Hebrews 8:13

"By calling this covenant "new," he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear."

There is a difference between "obsolete" and a "fairy tale." Are you saying that your old covenant was replaced by your new covenant? Or are you saying that the events of the OT, which are referenced throughout the NT, never happened at all? (Although that subject is beyond the scope of this Board.)
