The Renaissance was a fervent period of European cultural, artistic, political and economic “rebirth” following the Middle Ages. Generally described as taking place from the 14th century to the 17th century, the Renaissance promoted the rediscovery of classical philosophy, literature and art.

Trumpism, aka, despotism, will end today and the world will see American ethos have been restored by We The People!

All Americans will celebrate the restoration of the Separation of Power which is the backbone left to us by our founding fathers. Only Putin and his fellow travelers will be despondent to see democracy alive and well in the still divided United States of America.

Let's hope the next two years will build a vast majority which will support and defend our guiding principle, to wit:

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

I put my trust in democracy, and the wisdom of The People to influence the 435 members of the H. or Rep., and by inference the members of the Senate to put the ship of state on a safe and profitable course. For too long - 730 days - we have been on a course heading directly onto the rocks by an inexperienced Captain and an untrained crew.
 
In the next year the full horror of governance by Democrat socialists will be revealed. The leftward lurch of the country, stopped before we become Venezuela.

Unfortunately trumpism isn't going to stop until he's out of our White House.

Yes we now have the proper required checks and balances on this presidency that the constitution requires but trump is still in office and he still has his republicans in congress to do his bidding.

Does anyone remember Ella Grasso, governor of Connecticut back in the 80's? The guy who cut my hair wrote to her every year, offering a free cut, style set and makeup. She always sent him a very polite refusal. LOL
