Poll: MSNBC least trustworthy source of news,
Fox News ranked first

For American voters, MSNBC is the least trustworthy source of news in U.S., while Fox News is the most trusted, according to a new Quinnipiac survey.
The poll, which was conducted from February 26-March 2, found that 29 percent of 1,286 registered voters ranked Fox News first when asked to compare the trustworthiness of coverage offered by organizations including NBC News, ABC News, CBS News, MSNBC and CNN.

"The days of the three major network newscasts being the voice of leverage and trust are over," Quinnipiac's Tim Malloy told the Washington Examiner's media desk.

In comparison, CNN scored 22 percent of the vote, while NBC News and CBS News each came in at 10 percent and ABC News registered at eight percent.

MSNBC came in dead last, with only seven percent of the vote.

And here is the reason why...
85% of media donated money to Democrats!
1,160 (85%) of the 1,353 of the Senior executives, on-air personalities, producers, reporters, editors, writers and other self-identifying employees of ABC, CBS and NBC contributed more than $1 million to Democrats candidates and campaign committees in 2008, according to an analysis by The Examiner of data compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics.
Obama Democrats got 88 percent of 2008 contributions by TV network execs writers reporters The Daily Caller

So HOW in the hell can a network be fair and balanced when 85% of the news group give money to the Democrats!
Obviously they will do this:

Smooch: Study of 130,213 stories shows Obama bias in 2012 election
BY PAUL BEDARD | MARCH 16, 2015 | 10:49 AM
A sweeping study of some 130,213 news articles on the 2012 presidential match between President Obama and Mitt Romney has proven anew that there was a strong pro-Democratic bias in the U.S. and international press.

The study, published in the authoritative journal Big Data & Society, also tested the campaign themes the media focused on and determined that Obama succeeded in stealing the economic issue from Republican Romney.

"The 2012 elections saw an 'issue trespassing' strategy with President Obama taking the initiative on the economy," found the survey of stories produced by 719 U.S. and international outlets.

The survey used a technical language processing analysis to filter all the stories and found that Obama was portrayed as an attack dog and Romney on defense. Key was Obama's ability to "own" the economic message despite Romney's repeated assaults and the public's general view that the GOP handles the economy better.

"Overall, media reporting contained more frequently positive statements about the Democrats than the Republicans.
Overall, the Republicans were more frequently the object of negative statements," wrote the study authors,
Their conclusion:
"The Republican Party is the most divisive subject in the campaign, and is portrayed in a more negative fashion than the Democrats."

I'm waiting for you LIPs to comprehend that you are nothing but open mouthed funnels for gross misinformation disseminated by the extremely biased MSM and you don't even know it!

Well, it stands to reason that Fox News is so trusted when it has been scientifically proven that Fox News viewers are less informed than people that watch no news at all.
The poor things just have no idea what's true and what isn't.

There is a wide gulf between "trusted" and "truthful". And Fox News fills that gulf with manufactured bullshit.

So go ahead and brag that Fox News has the most devoted piss drinking, parroting rubes while the rest of us laugh our asses off. This isn't news to us at all!:badgrin::badgrin:

You're neither trusted nor truthful, Jake.

You're just a lying hack....

AND SINCE YOU are so LIP short and ignorant of how to do a search obviously for the FACTS
READ THIS YOU and STEWART ARE PROVEN FALSE!!!
Viewers of at least one show on Fox scored quite well -- The O’Reilly Factor, of whom 51 percent made it into the high knowledge group. That made it equal to National Public Radio -- a longtime target of conservative complaints about liberal media bias -- and only three percentage points behind Stewart’s own show, at 54 percent.

Do you find that comforting when Fox News viewers bitch slap the left in national elections? That was an epic couple of beatings the left has endured recently, we threw them to the ground then kicked dirt in their faces and laughed.

the libs (LIPS) don't want fair and equal reporting and debate. Even they know that when both sides are given equal time, the lib side always loses because liberalism is a failed ideology.

The only way they survive is by lying and hiding the truth.

The OP is distorting the results of the poll. His own link to the actual poll analysis shows that when asked which news sources were trusted "a great deal" and the additional choice of "somewhat", FOX came in last place, 7 points behind MSNBC.

So, you're crowing that the viewers of one particular Fox opinion show are still less informed than the viewers of a show that is constantly denigrated by conservatives as a Liberal comedy show?
You must be very proud.

You're also quoting a fact-checking website regularly described by conservatives as liberal to bolster your point?
Way to go.

You probably won't find these interesting but I'll put them here anyway.
Feel free to follow the links.
Study Watching No News is Better Than Watching Fox DC Inno
The Science of Fox News Why Its Viewers Are the Most Misinformed Alternet
Media outlets such as Fox News and MSNBC have a negative impact on people’s current events knowledge, while NPR and Sunday morning political talk shows are the most informative sources of news, according to Fairleigh Dickinson University’s newest PublicMind survey.

With all else being equal, people who watched no news were expected to answer 1.28 correctly, those watching only Sunday morning shows figured at 1.52, those watching only The Daily Showfigured at 1.60, and those just listening to NPR were expected to correctly answer 1.97 international questions.

Those watching only MSNBC were expected to correctly answer only 1.23 out of four, while viewers of only Fox News figured at 1.08.
It's science...you can't argue with science.

And fox news viewers scored lower on a current events test than folks who don't watch any news.

So the reasoning must be ... "yeah, we trust 'em to feed us crap. But we like the taste so ..."
