The Hunter Biden hearing and why it's nonsense.

The Lincoln Project Lays it all out for you.

Getting to the truth has never been an actual goal for the GOP, deflecting from trump's legal issues is.

A picture is worth a thousand words, and this video is worth ten times that.

No, if Proportional Representation existed Trump wouldn't be a candidate for a viable political party. He'd be like the AfD at best, but probably more like the Monster Raving Loony Party in the UK, a joke party.

The US would never have gotten itself into the situation it's in now.
That, my friend, is just wishful thinking.

The problem it shows is that the US government isn't stable enough any more to do what it's designed to do, which is to run the country. This sort of nonsense doesn't happen in countries with Proportional Representation, because there's far more oversight and actual choice for voters so that toxic candidates like Hillary, like Trump, like Biden simply get found out before they stand
Get found out?

The US is in the situation it's in because the vast majority of Repubs see Trump, the most unqualified candidate ever to receive a major party's nomination for prez, voted for him in sufficient numbers in 2016 to get him elected. A colossal error of judgement, the consequences of which we as a country are still having to contend with.

Maybe, unless of course enough people decide that it's a good idea.

The problem is most people seem to think that destruction of their country is a jolly good time (said with a spiffingly posh English accent, just like they do in Texas)

It's far, far more complicated than that. Goes back to the Koch brothers losing the election in 1980 with the Libertarian Party and deciding to change things on their own with their own money, not by getting elected, but by manipulating people.

How many of "the faithful" do you think would accept anyone besides him as the nominee?

Proportional Representation changes the way people think. In Germany they have PR and FPTP on the same say and get different results, as much as 10% of voters changed from the two largest parties with FPTP to smaller parties with PR.

Or possibly they just think differently over there. They do have a previous example of how to elect a dictator that destroys their country.

IOW they been there and done that.
