When the day of Pentacost came, it was not long before persecution followed. Some of those Believers living during that time thought this is the great tribulation Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24! Perhaps we have missed the rapture! Paul had to correct them and tell them that the man of sin would be revealed first. ( the anti-christ ) In other words, do not be troubled. The rapture has not taken place.

I have a serious concern for Christians who are expecting the rapture to come before the great tribulation because I can find no evidence of a pre-tribulation rapture in the bible. The other night while watching a christian preacher on television who has a magazine called The End times - he stated that although he could not find any evidence of a pre-tribulation rapture - he withheld that information from his readers because he didn't want to be called a false prophet.

His wife had told him that if he taught the church was going through the tribulation he would be called a false prophet. So he prayed about it, studied the scriptures carefully and concluded it was time to tell others what he had found. My husband listened to him and said, Look! That preacher believes the same thing you believe about the rapture! I admit I was surprised because other than Michael Boldea Jr. I have not found any other Pastors / evangelists teaching the catching up "after the tribulation". So let's look at the scriptures on the rapture and I will also add a few of the the scriptures that the End Times minister found and we can study it out together.

Beginning with Mathew 24: 4

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying I am the Christ, and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines and pestilences, and earthquakes,. in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you, and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end the same shall be saved.

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come.

Matt. 24: 4 -14
______________________
Jesus warned us first, Take heed that no man deceive you. Why? Because the times leading up to and including the Great Tribulation will be a time of great deception upon the earth. The LORD informs us that we shall hear of wars and rumours of wars and again he warns us, "See that you are not troubled" .... all these things must come to pass ........ the end is not yet. ( not time for Him to return yet )

Then as these things come to pass the LORD calls these times the beginnings of sorrows. I believe we are entering those times and the great tribulation is not far off now.

We see false prophets abounding, we also hear of those claiming to be Christ - ( but are not ) in Europe a new age Jesus is supposedly waiting in the wings to be announced, Lord something or another, the occasional report of a person in the USA claiming to be the Messiah, more and more we are hearing of such announcements... still Jesus has not returned.

Iniquity is abounding in the world and in the church and the love of Jesus Christ is waxing cold, we see that all about us. Just look at the news reports from this message board - even the world knows iniquity is greatly increasing upon the earth in this hour.

In much of the church, people are no longer tolerating sound doctrine but have itching ears to hear the latest, greatest "revelation"... it matters not that it is all lies.. they just want to hear a gospel that soothes their conscience, that tells them it alright to seek the riches of this world, no need to confess our sins or live holy, forget repentance - the latest revelation is there is no such thing as repentance - that one comes from yet another false prophet and his popularity is on the rise on the christian television networks.

Yes, the altars have been turned into stages that look like Grammy Award shows complete with rock music set to christian lingo. No more pure holy gospel hymns that have the anointing on them and what would bring a true heartfelt repentance - like the Spirit led sermons Tozer and Ravenhill, Charles Finney, Spurgeon or Jonathan Edwards preached!

No, I am told that today many of these wide road false preachers get their sermons off of the internet because they do not hear the Holy Spirit speaking to them. How can they when they have no relationship with God?

Yet in other places around the world - outside of the United States - we see Christians being put to death on a greater scale than ever before in the history of the world. Perhaps because this hasn't happened here in America the church still clings to a pre-tribulation rapture. So the following are scriptures to examine and find out what the bible says about the LORD's return.

It is written:

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened. and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

AND THEN shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven, and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
- Matthew 24: 29 - 31

From Matthew 24: 31 referring to the Lord's elect:

Matthew 24:31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

Matthew 24:32
"Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.

1 Corinthians 15:52
in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

1 Thessalonians 4:16
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

____________________________
The dead shall rise first, then we which are alive will be caught up. When shall this happen? At the last trumpet. 1 Corinthians 15:52 is the scripture verse the church uses to teach the pre-tribulation rapture. How is this possible that we would be raptured 7 years before - when scripture states the dead rise first?

Those who believe in a pre - tribulation rapture will tell you that when Jesus said his angels would gather his elect from the four winds - he was referring to the Jews which would be born again during the tribulation and that the church is already gone. That is not what scripture identifies as the elect.

Have a look:

Who are the elect that Jesus is speaking of in Matthew 24: 31? Not the Jews. Those who were born again including those Jews who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. The elect are the born again Church. That is who the elect are. When are they getting caught up? At the last trumpet. That is AFTER the tribulation. Not before.

Matthew 24:37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

Matthew 16:27
For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.

What happened after Noah and his family went into the ark? Was it 7 years before the judgment of God fell and destruction came? No. It was immediate. As Jesus said, Immediately after the Tribulation of those days the Son of man shall appear.... IMMEDIATELY after. Anyone not considering what Noah was subjected by a world of wicked men is simply not thinking this thing through. Noah indeed had his own tribulation that he went through prior to being told to enter the ark with his family. Look at the scripture of what was taking place during Noahs' day:

Who are these people?

Revelation 20:4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast3and he threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time. 4Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection.…

Question for those believing in a pre-tribulation rapture. If those who are martyred for Christ because they refuse to deny the Word of God and refuse to take the mark in their hand or in their forehead are the first resurrection......... how can you then be raptured 7 years before them? These are of the first resurrection are the choice saints that rule and reign with Jesus Christ for a thousand years. The finest of the wheat as Watchman Nee would say.

If you are a choice servant why would you be wisked away into the air before the first resurrection and be denied the privledge of ruling and reigning with Jesus Christ for 1000 years ? Does that even make sense? No. It doesn't. Any servant worth their salt would refuse such an offer hoping for a better resurrection! The first one! Read Hebrews! Hold on! I will get the scripture for you.

* Better yet, if the martyred for Christ are the first resurrection it is impossible that anything went before they did! Understand?

Here it is!

Hebrews 11:35 Women received back their dead, raised to life again. There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection.

King James Bible
Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

__________________________________
The Gospel of Jesus Christ includes raising the dead which you can see by this scripture some women did do, however there were those who refused - these ones did not want to be raised back up by rather rejected deliverance so that they could obtain a better ressurection! What was the better resurrection? The first one! The first one is the one that rules and reigns with Christ for 1000 years!

Why does the church teach that the raptured church prior to the tribulation is the first resurrection?

How can people who have refused the mark of the beast in their hand and forehead and kept the Word of Jesus Christ be beheaded for Christ and raptured too?

Answer. They cannot. Believe the bible, Beloved of God! Believe the bible! Be like the Bereans! Be like that brother with the magazine called End Times Magazine - study the scriptures and ask the Holy Spirit to show you. Yes, be like those who are preparing to endure until the end! Not looking for an early departure! Amen? Amen!

The Lucifereans are looking to the day when Lucifer will rule a one world order. It will be short lived and then his followers will be cast into hell for eternal torment. ( Lucifer will be bound for a 1000 yrs then let loose for a season then finally cast into hell with those he duped into serving him where he will be eternally tormented with the damned ) Still in the early church they were suffering great persecution and this led to much speculation about when Christ would return. Notice Paul's response. The anti christ will be revealed, he will set himself up in the temple in Jerusalem - once again referring back to Matthew 24: 15 where Jesus warns the believers about when they see THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION, spoken of by Daniel the prophet. Note Daniel's description in scriptures above? We'll still be here for this. Yes. On the earth, church. What does Jesus tell us to do? Read Matthew 24: 15,16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and then please note verse 21:

For then shall be such great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no , nor ever shall be. - Matt. 24: 21
________________
This IS the great tribulation Jesus is speaking about. Then the church will be panicking like the church of Thessalonians were and yet Jesus warns us in verse 23 of the same chapter again, Then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ or there, believe it not. For there shall be false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders.... Keep in mind how Jesus said he would return. That is how He shall return. ( not out in the desert, not standing on the ledge of a UFO making a kumbaya all paths lead to me speech ) Amen? Amen!

As the Jews are waiting for their Messiah to come - this will set the stage for the man of sin to present himself as their "Messiah" - will take the seat in the temple and he will announce himself as God. The Jews will finally see this false Messiah for what he is! An imposter! Then they will realize Jesus Christ is their true Messiah! Oh! What an hour we are living in, people! What an hour!

This is when the last trumpet sounds! Immediately after the tribulation and the judgment comes. This is it! How glorious is that?! Glory to God! It all comes together! Doesn't it? With the understanding that the church is going to endure unto the end or she won't be saved - how much should we be seeking the LORD every hour? Praying, fasting, repenting of sin, living holy, declaring the Word of God, winning souls, warning the lost of what is to come? You see, if we were expecting an early departure and had no part in this battle we may just believe that taking the mark in our hand or forehead won't cause us to lose our salvations because we are still waiting for a rapture!

Not realizing that the Word is being fulfilled on the earth right now! That the RFID chip technology is already being rolled out! Lucifer is not God. He is a fallen angel deceiving the world at present. He is not ominscient. He needs this technology for his one world order -he needs this rfid technology which created the chip to be implanted in your hand or forehead because it is what will replace cash in the future. You won't be able to buy, sell or trade without it. But for those who do not believe they are going to live through the Great Tribulation?

They could make the fatal error of taking this mark, this RFID chip / tattoo / whatever they will call it - even calling it part of Healthcare requirements, insurance requirements or even call it a medical breakthrough - perhaps - who knows how they will seduce millions to take it? Still! Anyone who takes the mark will have lost their salvation forever. If they are not saved - they will have lost their opportunity to ever be saved! So knowing what the bible teaches about the catching away of the elect is very important. Review the scriptures on your own time and ask the LORD to reveal to you the truth about what he meant when he said, He who shall endure unto the end the same shall be saved.

" choice servant will be be wisked away into the air " on rapture day and miss the seven years of the great tribulation, then return with JESUS AND DEFEAT ALL EVIL AND RULE WITH JESUS FOR THE 1000 YEARS.

Gismy, I would think the choice servant would be the one to rule and reign with Christ for a 1000 yrs. The Hebrew believers considered it the better resurrection themselves and refused deliverance from death and chose martyrdom. The bible is clear only those in the first resurrection who are martyred for Christ and reject the mark of the beast in their hands / foreheads will be counted in that number. Furthermore as they are identified as the first resurrection there could be nothing prior to them - resurrected!

Lastly Jesus said AFTER the tribulation he would appear - in the clouds. There is no mention of an earlier appearance. In Matthew 24 he warns us do not be deceived 5 times. In one chapter no less! Why? Because He knew this pre-rapture teaching would come about in the latter days and he didn't want us to be deceived into believing He had come and we had missed the rapture! He makes clear IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION, .......he will appear in the clouds. Then and only then will he appear!

The teaching that the church is raptured while the Jews are left here to suffer through the tribulation without us is a personal affront to me. I would not want to leave this earth without them. When my Jewish brethren are going through the tribulation I will be right there with them. All the way to the end. That is the way it is going to be.

I will not argue with you on what you believe but I have presented these scriptures to explain that according to the bible there is no pre tribulation rapture.

Have a blessed evening, Brother.

Let me quote it completely, GISMY.

It is written:

Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection.

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: On such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. And when the thousand years expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison.

- Rev. 20: 4 - 6

Bible scripture states that only those who take part in the first resurrection - being martyred for Christ - will rule and reign with Jesus Christ for 1000 years. One cannot be martyred and raptured at the same time. It is one or the other, Gismy.

All the rest of the saints will sleep during that 1000 years and will not take part in ruling and reigning with Jesus Christ for 1000 years, Gismy.

You must study Scripture for yourself, brother, because the wide road church isn't the only one preaching the rapture. Those who are supposed to know their bibles believe in it too. I do not.

I believe the written word of God only and take the word of no man. No man. Let the Word of God be true and every man found a liar. I stand on the Word of God. Nothing else.

Question to those who doubt it. Why is it that the early church were martyred for Christ and western Christians do not believe martyrdom is for them? Stephen was martryed for Christ, Peter was martyred for Christ, the apostles were martyred for Christ, albeit John was exiled to the isle of Patmos, the early christians were fed to the lions, the christians all over the world are right now being martyred for Christ and the church of America is still clinging tightly to a pre - tribulation rapture - totally unprepared. Why is that?

What is so terrible about being martyred for Christ? You have to go somehow! Would you rather die from a mosquito bite? Where is the glory in that? I mean seriously, church! THINK!!!

How can one possibly prepare for the book of Revelation's judgments?

The locusts in Revelation 9. How would you defeat them?

Revelation 9:10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.

I think if you had anything to defeat them, they wouldn't be hurting men for five months.

And then a third part of the men were killed (Revelation 9:18).

Amos 5:18 ¶ Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.

The day of the Lord is like a man feeling from a lion and just when he thinks he escapes, a bear met him or he went into a house and said, "whew" and leaned on the wall and a serpent bit him.

Amos 5:19 As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.

How do you prepare for that when you go to hide and then you get bit by a serpent?

Where would you hide when the men are asking the rocks to fall on them?

Revelation 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

How do you prepare? There is no where you can run because the locusts will find you.

Here is the answer. Unless God intervenes, no one will survive:

Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Answer to PostmodernProph, there have been people martyred for Christ in the United States. The girl who was murdered in the Columbine shooting refused to deny her faith in Jesus Christ? She was a martyr. There are tens of thousands who have refused to deny Jesus Christ and been martryed on the mission field throughout US history.

No, what I am referring to PostmoderProph, is that the modern church in America has clung to a teaching of a pre-tribulation rapture because they have believed the false teaching that Christians could not be on earth while the judgment of God is poured out. We will be although we will be sealed by God just as those who mourned over the sins of the land were sealed in Ezekiel Chapter 9.

In the book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ - you will note some of the judgments poured out, famine, death, plague, locusts, etc that will come upon the earth during the great tribulation do not touch those marked by God. Those are Gods servants and they are not touched by any of the judgments of God.

Those judgments come upon the world while the servants are witnessing it take place. See Psalm 91. For the promises of God to his elect.

As for the locusts, those are the fifth trumpet - see Chapter 9 of The Revelation of Jesus Christ. As for the servants of God who are sealed by God from any harm from these plagues, judgments poured out upon the earth?

It is written:

And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth, and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months, and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.

- Rev. 9: 3 - 5

As you can see, these torments are for those not sealed by God. Now Gods seal upon the servants is not to be confused with the mark of the beast which man, woman and child have been warned not to accept in their forehead or hand - it will be a mark that is required for them to buy, sell or trade. It is possible it would be the RFID chip which is implanted in the forehead or hand as I'm told this is to link up with a cashless society in the future. It could also be related to healthcare and insurance requirements forcing people to make the decision to join the one world order system controlled by Lucifer or hold fast to their salvation and refuse the mark.

As for the Sixth trumpet which is one trumpet before Jesus Christ appears in the clouds - Immediately AFTER the tribulation - Seventh trumpet is the last trumpet and when church is raptured - but first lets look at the sixth trumpet to see who is being tormented during the Great Tribulation - it isn't who you think:

It is written:

And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God. Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone, and the heads of the lions and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails, for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

Rev. 9: 13 - 19

PostmodernProph, these are the people who have rejected Christ and the wide road church which will be judged with them. All those who are part of the apostasy - the great falling away will share in that judgment. Not the servants of God. The children of God are sealed during the Great Tribulation - it is the antichrist and beast ( both actually ) that make war against the saints of God. Not God!

Now all these slain above are men who are not servants of God. The rest who did not die that way? Are kept alive for the worst torment yet to come. You'll find that in chapter 11 The two witnesses appear. After the two witnesses who shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and three score days according to Rev. 11: 3. See the three woes in Rev. 11. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of an angry God! These are the ones who will suffer that horrific time. Then finally - after all of this? Comes the last trumpet! What is the last trumpet to sound? The Seventh trumpet.

It is written:

And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of their works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold and silver and brass, and stone, and of wood, which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

- Revelation 9: 20,21,

The world thinks they are headed for good times. No. The world is headed for hell on earth. That is what the Great Tribulation is all about! Are you marked by Jesus today?

The servants of God will do mighty exploits in the name of LORD. They will be martyred after their ministry on earth is finished just as Peter, Stephen, James and the early servants of God were. They will run their race and when it is finished they will lay down their lives. That is how it will be.
