Hate to see this kid go. Top notch young man.

He walked off the football field Monday night as his college football career came to an end.
Way out west in Pasadena, California, Will Reichard kept his head up and made his father proud.
Made the Bama Nation proud, too.
It's going be awhile before college football sees another kicker like him.
Will Reichard was far from the most gifted athlete on Crimson Tide football teams over the last 5 years.
But for 5 years, the Bama kicker shared his gift.
Hard work, positivity, empathy, class.
Will Reichard had them all.
And as the kicker from Hoover, AL suited up for the Crimson Tide for the last time, the greatest kicker in the history of Bama football has left behind a list of accomplishments longer than a midnight train.
In 5 years at Bama, Will Reichard attempted 297 extra points.
He missed twice.
In 5 years at Bama, Will Reichard never missed a field goal of less that 30 yards, and he went 10-of-13 on fields over 50 yards, two of which were last night.
In 5 years at Bama, Will Reichard scored 547 points, making him the all-time leading point scorer in the history of college football.

547 points is the result of a whole lot of field goals and a whole lot of extra points made, and after every successful kick, Will would point to his father Gary in Heaven.
Gary Reichard fought pancreatic cancer with all his might, but Will Reichard's father, coach and advisor went to the Lord in March of 2016.
Will wishes his dad could have seen all of his accomplishments.
He has a strong feeling that somehow, he did.
Will Reichard accomplished so much during his years at Bama.
He walked his sister Taylor down the aisle at her wedding.
He made the decision to play one more season at Bama even though he could have turned pro last spring.
He received his Master's degree from UA.
He married his high school sweetheart and fellow Bama grad Amelia Auchmuty.
He showed the world what loyalty and grace are all about.
Will Reichard accomplished more than even he may realize in his 5 years at Bama.
He put Bama fans at ease as their anxieties over their kickers vanished.
He was a true student-athlete who was a perfect example of how it's done.
He will forever be honored to have worn the Crimson, something that means the world to Bama fans everywhere.
Will Reichard held his head high as he walked off the Rose Bowl field last night, and while so many memories are behind him, so many new memories await him.
And as the stadium grew smaller as the Bama team buses pulled away deep into the night, Bama's kicker could feel a ray of sunshine.
For over the last 5 years at Bama, Will Reichard made his father and his family proud.
Made the Bama Nation proud, too.
