Tell Me Those Who Call Themselves Conservative.

The answer really is so simple. If the people unite in voting out all Socialists/Progressives & Neocons, sanity will return to our Government. Make 2010 count people.

WHO ARE THE CANDIDATES YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE WIN OFFICE?!?.. ...PLEASE NAME JUST TEN NAMES SO I CAN RUB YOUR NOSE IN YOUR FAVORITE STINKING REPUBLICRATS' VOTING RECORDS, etc.!!! ;)

First step: Elect a conservative GOP Congress.
Second step: Impeach and remove Obama.

The rest will take of itself.

Thus far, nobody has answered the question other than retort with empty bromides.

"Elect conservatives" isn't an answer given that over the last three decades, elected "conservatives" propagated and implemented some of the most fiscally irresponsible policies in the history of the nation.

What is your plan for getting back to fiscal responsibility and liberty?

Because we're getting near summer and so far no real unity on the proper issues is occurring.

And don't give me that Tea Party crap either. That's a good thing but there needs to be unity behind liberty-minded candidates too.

For starters...take all the Democrats in Washington out on the street...tar and feather them and ride them out of town on a rail.

And then go back to that 2001 - 2007 fiscal responsibility nirvana, right?

With only 175 House members and 41 Senators it does not matter one whit what the republicans want or think they can come up with. They do not have the votes to create any law or restrictions, cutbacks or changes to the Budget.

Ask your liberal buddies why they think it is ok to spend 4 times faster then Bush did.

The first step is to determine that getting back to fiscal responsibility and liberty is what is needed. If that is supported, then it's easy:

Reduce spending to 98% of tax revenues as collected in the previous year.
What will you cut?
Close the borders.

Assure that everyone, everyone, pays some Federal tax.
How will you pay for the staff that will be needed to squeeze money out of people who have none to give you.
If the first step is not accepted, then we can look forward to riots in the streets when austerity hits just like Greece. The bitch about giving stuff away is that the recipients who haven't earned it and don't deserve it think they have earned it just by breathing. If they continue to breath, they feel that they continue to earn it.

At the start of this county's history, the rule was, "If you don't work, you don't eat." pretty much what they said to slaves Somehow this has changed to, "If the right segment of the population works hard enough and produces enough, since we outlawed slavery its alot harder for to force people to work huh? then it is criminal for that group to live in comfort and to allow that group to prosper while the indolent or lazy do not enjoy the minimum needed items to live comfortably."How about the mega wealthy provide some jobs for Americans to do if they dont want HUGE taxes levied on them.

The problem here is that the group that moves the wagon and the group that rides the wagon are becoming more and more equal in number all of the time. At some point, no matter how altruistic we are encouraged to be, the wagon will stop and there will be no more options.I think you are kinda confused as to who builds the wagon , maintains the wagon, pulls the wagon and who just bought the wagon with the money their daddy made.

Greece.

When the rioters take the streets and the society can no longer pay for the police to control the streets, what then?

The the mega wealthy will be forced to sit atop a smaller pile of cash.

For Republican, "Fiscal Responsibility" are merely words. The deficit has exploded under Republican presidents. They can't bring themselves to say the words "Middle Class". The "Fiscal Conservative" is a hoax. It's never existed and never will.

You've got to spend money to make money. You have to have eduction to compete. There is no such thing as "maintaining the status quo". Things grow (liberal) or they die (conservative). There is nothing in between.

What is wrong with you? Seriously? Do you really believe that nonsense?

Let me explain it again and this time, please, PAY ATTENTION!

Republicans are nearly all one race and one religion. They march in lockstep. They need NO consensus.

Democrats are made up of blacks, whites, asians, hispanics, indians, christians, muslims, hindu, wicca, atheist, gay, straight, men, women, the educated, the uneducated, CONSERVATIVE AND LIBERAL.

THEY DON'T MARCH IN LOCKSTEP.

Many aren't even Liberal. If the Republican party didn't insist on "Confederate Day" and laws to harass hispanics, all those conservatives would swell the ranks of the Republican Party.

Democrats have to build coalitions within their own party first.

WHAT IS IT DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND? IS IT REALLY SO DIFFICULT?

My plan would be across the board tax cuts, reduce (and I don't mean decrease the size of growth) of discretionary spending, eliminate the EPA and department of education.

That and without spending to clean the mess Bush made we would already be greece

Do you realise how many jobs that would eliminate?

Do you realise how many oil rig, coal mine, natural gas, river spills, and the like would take place?

What you suggest would tank the economy and make us look like China.

Do you realise the level of polution China has?

Read:

The CBO reported in October 2009 reasons for the difference between the 2008 and 2009 deficits, which were approximately $460 billion and $1,410 billion, respectively.

Key categories of changes included: tax receipt declines of $320 billion due to the effects of the recession and another $100 billion due to tax cuts in the stimulus bill (the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act or ARRA); $245 billion for the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) and other bailout efforts; $100 billion in additional spending for ARRA; and another $185 billion due to increases in primary budget categories such as Medicare, Medicaid, unemployment insurance, Social Security, and Defense - including the war effort in Afghanistan and Iraq. This was the highest budget deficit relative to GDP (9.9%) since 1945.[54] The national debt increased by $1.9 trillion during FY2009, versus the $1.0 trillion increase during 2008.[55]

The Obama Administration also made four significant accounting changes, to more accurately report the total spending by the Federal government. The four changes were:

1) account for the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan (”overseas military contingencies”) in the budget rather than through the use of “emergency” supplemental spending bills;

2) assume the Alternative Minimum Tax will be indexed for inflation;

3) account for the full costs of Medicare reimbursements; and

4) anticipate the inevitable expenditures for natural disaster relief. These changes would make the debt over ten years look $2.7 trillion larger, but that debt was always there. It was just hidden.

Ok, so 47% of households pay no federal income taxes now. How much are you going to take that number up to with your tax cuts?

50%? 55%? 60%?

and, about 500 billion of the 2009 deficit is attributed to lost tax revenue from economic conditions AND the Obama tax cuts. How are more tax cuts going to magically have the opposite effect?

WHAT THE FUCK?????

How much do you hate this country?

What are you? "V"?

Well, at least that's an honest answer.

However, if you kept social security, medicare and defense, you could eliminate every single program and fire every single government worker, and you'd still have a budget deficit. So cutting all discretionary spending, the DoE and the EPA while cutting taxes would still leave us with a large deficit.
