So who do we blame racism on?

So much for dealing with someone of goodwill... your inability to see the world the way that it actually is, is not my cross to bear in life...
Your personal fear and weakness is not a measure of my goodwill. Grow up.

Leave it at that.
Typical race-baiting non-White Leftist... when you can't properly counterpoint a scientific truth or argument, break out the race card.

Noted.

Your view is not the prevailing view nor will your insults be allowed to dominate the conversation.

You fail.

Blame it on.......

Blacks who want to use racism as an excuse for their own shortcomings, to get attention, to get money by donations like BLM or al sharpton, to get free shit and special treatment, and as a excuse for bad behavior.

Whites who want to pat themselves on the back for being such a good person, for attention, and for political gain.

Corporations and companies to get good esg scores and as a marketing tool.

Media outlets as a way to get viewers so they can keep their advertising revenue streams flowing.

Those really are the only reasons racism even exists in America.

What you WISH the world was like is very different from what the world IS like... or what is WAS like 10,000 years ago... or what it WILL be like 10,000 years from now.

One does not "grow out of" 3,000,000 years of human evolution.

Sorry.

It's natural to feel or experience a unique connection with those who look like you and share your language and culture. There's nothing wrong with that, however, when you're unable to respect or value the lives of other human beings that don't share all of those traits with you, falling into hateful, violent bigotry, not allowing those who are different from you to live with dignity, then your "racial bias" becomes destructive. If you live in a country like the US, which has many different ethnic groups, with different cultures living together, you need to at the very least respect their rights as human beings and as fellow citizens of the United States. Forcing a particular race to sit at the back of the bus or depriving them of their human dignity (of their humanity) is immoral, if not criminal, and undermines the noble ideals and values we claim to hold dear and embody as Americans.

At the end of the day, we're all human beings, members of the same species, and that's why we're able to procreate with one another. As hoaky as it might sound, all we have in this vast, unfriendly, indifferent universe is each other. We should recognize our common humanity before we grant any value or attention to what makes us different from one another. We are all human first, before anything else. We are human...

Racism is just a way to marginalize any group of people with a defining characteristic or culture.

it stems form the xenophobic behavior primitive humans exhibited. it made sense back then to fear other people you didn't know because they were a threat to the tribe.

Like many of our human failings we haven't evolved enough to rid ourselves of this vestigial behavior

I think it's more of a "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner" thing. :omg:

Existentially. White people? And where did they get it from

History. The institution of slavery brought over from Europe and the necessity of demonizing the enslaved race (enslaved in perpetuity) throughout the Union, even in non slave states. The concept of the entire race was somehow almost sub-human was taught, and in fact we were helping them along to the road to civilization.........that racism just didn't go away, it has been past down, though watered down, to each successive generation. It just hasn't been that long. My grandfather knew both ex slaves and ex slave holders.

The US federal government occupied the south for decades with its military, in order to stop whites from massacring blacks.
Federal occupation ended in 1877. 12 years after the end of the war, the North got tired of sending Soldiers to Louisiana to die. By the turn of the Century the old power structure was back in place across the entire South.

Great points. The skills that blacks learned as slaves allowed them to gain productive employment almost immediately after they were freed. Many were actually employed and paid by their previous owners.

Yeah and the KKK became part of that power structure. The South, which ironically, is also called the "Bible Belt", was the most hateful and abusive towards non-whites.

Well, they were the insurgents who fought the Northern occupation and Freemens new rights. Naturally, they became the Mayors, Police Chiefs and political representatives throughout the South and took away most all of those rights.

Existentially. White people? And where did they get it from? Black Hutus and the hutis, that extermination thing. How far do we digress here?

We blame it on the race hustlers & baiters like Al Sharpton, BLM, the media and the democrats.
