Should there be a mandatory civics exam before you can vote?

    I wouldn't mind it as a basis for registering to vote. I'd use civic questions found on US citizenship test. I wouldn't want it required before every election, just at time of registration.

    I think you should have to pay property tax in order to be registered to vote.

    We do have compulsory education from age about 5 to 18 in the U.S. It does include civics.
