Since I haven't commented on these crybabies lately I thought this fascinating. While the tea party consists of whiners and paid puppets for big money, they are a funny lot. My favorites among their many stupidities are Michelle Bachmann's hallucinations, keeping government out of their medicare, and the recent buffoon's discovery of communists under his bed. How anyone can take this band of idiots seriously is beyond comprehension. Now we can add hypocrite to their resume - or maybe just add as an addendum.

"A 2011 Chevy Equinox, which freshman Rep. Chip Cravaack (R-MN) expensed to taxpayers for more than $25,000
Though they campaigned on a platform of reducing the deficit and ridding wasteful spending, more than a half-dozen Tea Party congressmen have collectively spent over $100,000 in taxpayer money on personal vehicles."

"To clarify, these payments were not personal expenditures from each congressman’s $174,000 salary. The $106,643 in car payments were discretionary office expenses." Seven Tea Party Freshmen Spent More Than $100,000 In Taxpayer Money On Personal Cars | ThinkProgress

No comments? A bit off topic:

Today one cannot bring up race in public so instead 'communist' is used, or 'you're not an American,' or 'you don't understand America,' or 'you were not born here' and 'you are of a religion we religious people are intolerant of.' Bill and Hillary Clinton were called every name in the book, but never were they accused of not being American, why? Except for a few white power racists, no one in so called civil society today admits that racism even exists. Americans cannot look at themselves with clear vision, they must pretend we are past all these things. If that were true why all this nonsense about socialism or communism? Hasn't their day in the sun passed too? No, they have not passed for they serve as substitutes for thought, distractions from key issues, and excuses for conditions. And so it goes....

Some time ago I posted a piece in which I noted the similarities between the tea party and the kkk, I found it is now located in the 'rubber room,' but I spent a few minutes reading through it. There is some substance there even though most replies were of the adolescent sort. A few interesting links below.

Thought pattern is represented in the dialogue quoted in first link. Today those words are often below the surface but I hear them even among more educated whites. Inge Marler, Arkansas Tea Party Leader, Makes Racist Joke At Event

"....A new survey by the University of Washington Institute for the Study of Ethnicity, Race & Sexuality offers fresh insight into the racial attitudes of Tea Party sympathizers. "The data suggests that people who are Tea Party supporters have a higher probability"—25 percent, to be exact—"of being racially resentful than those who are not Tea Party supporters," says Christopher Parker, who directed the study. This is how bad Obama is doing.

Without massive voter fraud, all 57 states would be in play

Nice.

Again..it looks like the Tea Party was a load of Bullshit.

"Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds." -- Robert Byrd, Democrat and genuine Klansman

All their income is "taxpayer money". I suppose the idiot OP is maintaining that 7 senators should be riding bikes to work.....or drag the family suvs from whatever state they live in cross country to DC and leave their families without transportation.

What's 100,000/7? They didn't even get upscale vehicles.

It's a non-issue.
