Scott Brown's Election By The People Ignored By Democrats

Thankfully, the Democrats will not let the people of one state decide for the whole country

Hell, it's not even clear how much the people of that one state voted for the candidate as opposed to voted against his challenger.

Either way, anyone who thinks Mass. is suddenly Tea Party territory isn't paying close enough attention.

The Democrats are finally showing some balls and doing what they were elected to do.

Let the Republicans see how far they get in trying to repeal it

"We the people" voted in 2008 and gave the Democrats a mandate to pass the agenda they ran on. As much as the Republicans attempted to scuttle the bill through lies and half truths, they have FAILED miserably

Once again the Party of NO has been soundly sent packing.

actually, its the dems who have been sent packing lately....

get out much?

Did you miss the 2006 election?
How about the 2008 election?

Republicans lost 16 Senate seats and 57 House Seats

You regained ONE Seat in the Senate and lost ONE Seat in the house in the last year

You call that being "sent packing"??

Fuckin' a right, doggy. Why do you all think they've been lagging behind in the polls? Because nothing's getting done.

Watch the polls surge once the bill's passed. :clap2:

Anyone who thinks we voted against a candidate rather than voted for the only sound candidate isn't paying close enough attention; he don't know us, do he!

Ok, then...

Are ya gonna be getting rid of your own public healthcare system anytime soon?

We're working on it.

"Walk softly, but carry a big stick!" T.R.

Republicans such as this man are no more, no more, no more. If T.R. were alive today, he'd not only be a Democrat, but he'd be aggressively supporting this bill and whipping for a bill that stretches further.

If your a con, and I assume you are, you might consider changing your signature line.

The Democrats have certainly acknowledged Sen. Brown's marginal election appropriately by seating him very quickly.

What has been ignored is the overwhelming mandate won by the Democrats and Pres. Obama in the last national elections. A mandate that clearly supported Healthcare legislation.

The GOP and it's supporters are nothing but a bunch of squeaky wheels - they've hit the pinnacle of their political 'comeback'. Once this Healthcare bill is past - it's all downhill for the GOP.

Just think about it! By next November:

The Healthcare bill will be law and the American people will love it.
The Taliban & Al Queda will be crushed, Bin Laden may even be in custody.
The Unemployment rate will be down to around 8.5% and dropping.
The Dow will be around 12,500.

The GOP won't have a chance!

you've clearly overdosed on kool-aid,, you need an antidote.

Interpretation: Thankfully the Democrat administration will not respect the views of the people, or one of their strongest Democrat voter and policy voices in the nation.

Respect the view of the people? That used to be called sticking your finger in the wind to see what the polls were and do whatever they said. Back when Clinton was president anyway.

I am neither a Democrat nor a Republican, or any other sort of lemming for that matter; I am my own man. Yes, we need health care reform, but not this package. This package doesn't address the fact that we are being gouged by the insurance companies, on behalf of the insurance companies and the medical community and the investors. Only 33% of your premiums go towards the coverage you seek, the rest into the bank accounts of the corporate officers at the insurance companies, or the doctors yacht in Newport, or those already rich enough to sit back and watch their money grow. Until this point is addressed, this Health Care Reform Package is useless.

The arrogance and true colors of the Democrat Party are now out for all to see. The will, concern, views, and voices of the people will not be heard by Democrats.

Scott Brown was elected by the people; Democrat, independent, and GOP alike, to send a message to Obama to stop his health care corruption.

Now you kids are seeing why I left the Democrat Party decades ago.

All they care about is the government they own from Washington, DC to your grade school janitor.

If you need to see any further evidence, then you also need to be put in protected custody from yourself for your own safety.

so Brown did not fix everything like some on here alluded he would?
He is just a one man message.
Is he supposed to count for more than one congressperson?

Keep dreaming, someday one of them may come true.

The geniuses on the right say the Democrats are toast if they pass healthcare.

The geniuses on the right say the Democrats are toast if they don't pass healthcare.

Well, if toast is on the menu one way or another, might as well screw the GOP'ers to boot,

by passing healthcare.
