Yep--I think the only silver lining to this administration is a very good "real" education for the youth in this country. During my generation we had to go through another left wing liberal President in Jimmy Carter. Another like him was not elected until--this one--who is much more economically dangerous than even Carter.

This President is out to bankrupt this country. He believes whole-heartedly in wealth redistribution, & there is absolutely no doubt in my mind he wants Americans to become Europeans--where the government controls EVERYTHING. Heck--even actors are on the French government payroll.

They are voting on the bill and the corrections simultaneously. This is not unusual. Happens all the time. The end result is exactly the same as passing the Senate version then passing the revisions.

The size or scope of the bill does not change legislative rules or procedures.

"Deem-and-Pass" is a new catch phrase the republicans have come up with to make sure you stay good and angry.

And they are doing it. Sunday 12:00PM. Watch it happen on CSPAN. There will be no rioting for god's sake.

So the democrats sweep the elections taking the presidency and Congress, but the Republicans get one seat back after the unfortunate death of Kennedy. That's hardly a mandate. 'The people' of the United States didn't vote Brown in, 'The people' of Mass did. I guess I need more of what you consider 'proof', if you have any.
