Rush has some advice for Republicans!

Should Republicans take Rush's advice and not negotiate with the President?

I just love how the lefties/dims say that Republicans and Conservatives always listen to Rush, but the ones that seem to always know what he's saying is those on the left/dims.

Why is that?

I hope you're right, it would be very good if Rush didn't have the ear of conservatives. His agenda is keeping the "sides" divided to keep his ratings up. It's not about his party or his ideology or his country. The very LAST thing he wants is the two parties to work together as mature adults for the good of the country.

That's the bottom line.

.

Bingo! Rush cares about Rush, first and foremost. Rush is DEFINITELY, not the kind of guy who makes personal sacrifices for others. For example, you wouldn't want to be sitting next to Rush in a fox hole because you could never depend on him to do anything else than to look out for himself.
But you and the Dems are different, right?

It's strange that republicans would listen to someone like Rush with his background as a guy sending his maid out to do illegal drug purchases, especially since he was a "drug warrior" up to that point. Then his radio gig as Jeff Christie, a homosexual panderer. We know how republicans regard homosexuals. So he read a few books and educated himself. Everybody's read a few books. I wonder if he believes Iran is landocked. Romney did, yet people voted for him anyway.

Republicans should select their own plan from the House, or even forward Simpson Bowles... and send it to the Senate for a vote. If it comes back larded up or full of tax increases without sufficient cuts, kill it.

What people need to understand is that Democrats are going to see to it that Republicans get the blame no matter WHAT they do, and since the media is in Obama's pocket, they'll succeed. So, the thing to do is to adhere to core principles and let the chips fall where they may.

Obama WANTS this thing to go "over the cliff". We can see that clearly in his opening bid, which was literally laughable. Our job is to make sure we don't rubberstamp his idiocy.

So, should Republicans take Rush's advice?

Obviously not. There's simply no good way out of this for Republicans.

If we don't have an agreement, defense cuts and middle class tax increases hit automatically.

This will make the GOP as about as popular as the Ebola Virus.

The hit an agreement, they will look like the adults in the room, even if they get a lot of grumbling from the Teabaggers. The sooner they confront the TEA Party, the better.

Actually, Rush has some advice for everyone. The question is whether or not anyone should listen. Should Republicans take him seriously considering that Rush has never run for office or, to my knowledge, even worked on a campaign or been involved in ANY way in elective politics.

Rush's advice for Republicans is that they shouldn't negotiate with President Obama on the so-called fiscal cliff.

So, should Republicans listen to Rush? It's a good question since the answer, if yes, could come back to bite Republicans BAD in the aftermath of the election in which Obama campaigned on higher taxes for the top 2% and often mentioned Republicans unwillingness to compromise.

What would Rush lose if the Republicans took his advice and it backfired? Nothing!

Frankly, I wonder why people listen to Rush at all. He has no formal educational degree past HS. He's never worked in politics. In fact, Rush has zero experience in the areas where he continuously offers advice on topics of national concern like politics, governance, taxation, military matters, international affairs, and all manner of public policy.

Obama ignored the fiscal cliff for 4 years, and anyone that talked about it was a racist.

NOW he admits there is one, and fyi; b/c HE FAILED. But his only idea is to repeat his failed ideas that he knew would fail in the first place.

Why would anyone that loved this country negotiate to do what they know will fail again?

Limbaugh is an asshole. His advice is not for the good of the country.

Rush Limbaugh has no interest in seeing Republicans take control.

IOW, lushbo wants the pubpots to just keep doing what they've been doing for the past four years. Obstructing and filibustering while sending jobs out of the country.

Bet the nutter rw's just love this.

But, realistically, the Rs don't have the power and there's always another election.

It's 1995 all over again.

Rush like me understands if the GOP lets Obamination drag this out so that the Bush tax cuts expire for everyone on 1 January, then the GOP will be blamed because most Americans are idiots and the media will lie, lie and lie some more for Obamination.

Let Obamination raise taxes on rich people, only raising enough money for the Federal budget lasting about 2 weeks....but costing people jobs in the private sector, then see what happens in 2014 and 2016.

Obamination is going to be the noose around Democraps' neck for decades to come.

Rush is...

A multi-millonaire, or more
Who works, but does a job where he just talks to people
He is too rich to ever need a union
He is too rich to need health insurance, and in fact, has openly said he doesnt he just pays cash for care
He is too rich to ever need welfare or any part of the social safety net
He can afford his own private security, so he doesnt need cops

Rush Limbaugh lives a life so unique to the world that his opinion cannot possibly be grounded in reality.

But GOP politicians will listen to HIM rather than ordinary American people.

Which..again...is why they lost.

Really, wouldn't that just make him an objective observer since he has no dog in the fight?

Negotiate does not mean abandon, or capitulate! There is nothing wrong with negotiating with someone you disagree with - it is the prelude to possible compromise, and it is what is expected
by the American people. However, it is time to deal with the debt - that is not negotiable!

They did that, in the form of a budget, Reid has it sitting on his desk. As far as I'm concerned it's the commiecrats move.

Rush is one the wealthiest 2%, so its probably in his best financial interests to stand back and watch the other 98% of Americans hurtle over the "fiscal clif!" with a smile on his face!
