Ruh roh! Rorama's roosing roo Romney!

Great Gatsby......a couple of things.

You cannot argue Gallup's impartiality with such passion and then, without the slightest hesitation, say this:
"LOL - So if anything, Gallup is left.". Doing so makes you appear nutty and without credibility.

More importantly, you should study Scoobie's speech patterns more carefully if you are going to try and use them in your posts. Doing a hack job in this regard, as you did, may be the height of lameness. There are very few genuinely humorous nutters in existence. I can assure you that you are not one of them.

LOL - You are a nut. It's Scooby. How you gonna lecture me on Scoobyisms when you can't even spell the damn dog's name? Get out of here with that.

And I've always been under the impression that Gallup used scientific procedures. If you look at their website, they do a great job of using neutral language and not creating cheerleader type of articles. And I certainly have not seen anything that shows them in the tank for the right. That's what the poster listed and I challenged himr to show me something and he didn't.

Another poster showed ways in which gallup has went left.

Going with evidence doesn't make me nutty. It makes me willing to listen to evidence and make an informed opinion. So take your stupid preaching to an idiot that will buy your lame lecture.

"Gee, Scoob, it was Old Man Gatsby. He was the Republican Ghost of a Chance to win all along."

"And I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kid!"

Fact is, most of the polls have shown Obama leading Romney by a comfortable margin. This poll is an outlier, and the fact it has a higher than normal number of undecideds is kind of telling.

I rip on Romney a lot, but the GOP's problems are bigger than the fact that they decided to abandon common sense and nominate him.

They have spent so long appeasing their base groups, that they've lost key groups they need to win.

They've spent so long bending to Wall Street they've lost connections to working people.

They've spend so long bending to Nativists, they've alienated Hispanics.

They've spent so long sucking up to religious fanatics and lunatics they've turned off women.

This is what they have to fix. Because, frankly, with this economy, Obama should be losing if Republicans put up the Cheney/C'Thulhu ticket.

You're a lying nut case joe. The GOP would be well advised to pretty much do the opposite of about anything you have to say. I laugh that you presume to lecture us on their shortcomings.

Obama is losing right now, rather soundly.

The 'likely voters' measures are what matters, which is what Rassmussen measures and has the two roughly tied, with 10% of the voters undecided. But winning that 10% is what winning elections are about.

Guess which way those 10% undecided break in an election when the incumbent POTUS has less than 50% approval?

You got me on that spelling point. Well done. But.....you still fucked up up your attempt at funny.

Simple demographics.

the GOP is alienating working folks (about 70% of the electorate) Women (about 50% of the electorate) and Hispanics (about 15% of the electorate).

To get which votes, exactly? The angry white male vote.

The GOP has lost four of the last five popular votes for president. The only won 2004 because there were judicial shennanigans in 2000, and even with a good economy, a war, incumbancy AND a truly awful Democratic candidate, the only barely won, 51-49. A change of 118,000 votes in Ohio would have given the election to Kerry.

Impression? It sounded more like factual knowledge the first 10 times you said it.

Evidence? You are a tool. A useless tool.

Actually Obama is alienating working folks by lying about the GOP.

He actually said that Ronald Reagan was a wild-assed Socialist.

Good luck selling that Bull Shit. Might as well try to sell everyone on the premise that Abraham Lincoln was a racist.

Actually, they usually break for the incumbant. Incumbancy is a great advantage, which is why we usually return them.

In fact, in the last century, we've only turned out an incumbant ONCE when his party has only been in charge for 4 years. Usually, we are inclined to throw out an incumbant when his party has been in charge for a while.

But the bigger problem the GOP has is demographics. What was a winning coalition from 1968 to 1988 (where the GOP won five out of six elections) is now a losing coalition (where the GOP has lost four out of five elections since 1992.)

The GOP platform respects all races and sexes. I hope that they never pander the way that Dems do. We believe in liberty, freedom and self reliance. Any self respecting person can get behind them. We believe in the principles that this great nation was founded upon. We believe in the Constitution. You'll never get any of that b/c you'll always be buying some phony us vs. them narrative that is being sold to you. Liars buy lies. That's your life joe. Get used to it. You'll always be bitter b/c lies will never make you happy.

Ronald Reagan would be called a RINO today.

He raised taxes after cutting them, appointed moderates to SCOTUS, granted amnesty to 3 million illegal aliens, cut arms control deals with the Soviets.

And sorry, most working folks are getting upset about the legacy of Ronald Reagan, part of which was destroying the unions that got them good wages.

You say that as if Republicans didn't just deliver an historic 800 legislative seat ass wuppin on the Democrats in the last election.

Hey, guy, if you hadn't nominated the fucking Mormon, I'd be out there working for the GOP candidate right now.

But reality is reality. Elections are ultimately about self interests, not principles.

There's no self-interest involved in anyone but a white millionaire to vote for the GOP. Even the Christian Right has little to show for 30 years of voting for Republicans. (Abortion is still thankfully legal, prayer in school is illegal, gays are winning the right to marry and your kids are still being taught they evolved from monkeys.)

The problem the GOP has is that less and less people are falling for it anymore.

I say that because midterms really don't mean all that much. Never have.

Either Republicans have alienated all the voters ,or they haven't, tool.

No, midterms don't count because not many people vote in them.

That's the point. Usually, in a national election like 2008, you get about 130 million people voting.

in a midterm, you get a lot less than that, about 80 million, and usually in only select offices... which is why they don't really mean that much. Most of those elections are local elections.

If the GOP were that impressed with 2010, they wouldn't have spent most of the last year trying to defang the TEA party. They know these people are poison in the long run.

A wee hint for the conservatorial crowd: You can't win elections by wrapping up the old white guy demographic anymore. We let women and minorities vote!

More us vs. them nonsense. The GOP welcomes women and minorities and we don't use them as political pawns and cogs in the way that Democrats do.

The King Of Excuses is at it again.

You're a flaming lib that constantly lies. Who you kidding? You don't have a Republican bone in your body.
