Most Paul supporters despise Israel so countries like Iran and Syria can do no harm in their eyes..
Lol good girl, keep rehashing the talking points your status quo parties are feeding you.
I'm a Paul supporter, the U.S. should respect the sovereignty of the Israel gov't and not meddle in their business. If it's their business to blow up Palestine or surrender everything they have to Palestine, we shouldn't get involved.
We've had allies and stood by them since the inception of our great Republic. Were it not for France there would not be a United States of America. Just because you Paulettes have no problem with turning your back on our friends, doesn't mean the rest of us are going to follow suit.
Ron Paul's isolationist policy is dangerous in a world that seeks to destroy us. Paulettes can keep their heads buried in the sand.. that won't make our enemies and their real intent to attack us go away. He needs to stop looking soo doofy up there too.. they did a lot of cutaways last night and he looked a bit looney.
Ron Paul is not an isolationist. That is a common unfair & inaccurate smear on the man. He fully supports free & fair trade with the entire World. But we don't need to be meddling in every nations' business to accomplish that. He is not an isolationist.

Great example, France and our revolution.
France helped us with our revolution, then France had a revolution right after and we couldn't help because we didn't have the money and manpower to help them.
Guess what the situation is now? We don't have the manpower or money to support our foreign policy.
Great example, a perfect parallel for me.
If China or Russia were doing the same things our gov't was doing all over the world we'd be saying:
"Why don't they mind their own business?"
If a frog had wings he wouldn't hit is ass on the ground every time he hopped.
Let's stay with fact's and not "what if's".
Fact is, we have been asking Russia and China to help in our effort to reign in countries that harbor and offer safe havens for terrorist. We've ask them to help with sanctions on Iran. They refuse to help.

Remind me to never befriend a Paulette. So let me get this straight.. Should an ally find themselves in financial trouble, this negates the need to befriend nations?

Sorry to hear that. Because we're the only ones who can save this nation now. How much more pain & suffering are the Socialists/Progressives & Neocons going to be allowed to inflict on us?

Sure we should loan money when we have money to lend if it benefits the U.S. taxpayer.
When was the last time we had money to spare and weren't running up debt?
I also agree with most of Paul's positions. But Newt did make a good counter point in regard to aiding Israel. Paul's positions is basically that we should not be aiding either Israel or Iran and if they want to have it out, so be it. Iran will soon likely have a nuke and Israel already does. Newt pointed out that if we don't aid Israel in some fashion and they are then forced to use their nukes to defend themselves the world is gonna get pretty shitty in a hurry. It is still in the best interest in the national security of america that the U.S. in some form or other be involved in such a conflict if it were to take place (though Paul noted that he believes that be highly unlikely it would come to that).

No chance Iran would ever use a nuke, it'd be suicide.
The only chance Israel uses a nuke is if they're ordered by the U.S. to use one, because terrorist attacks would increase 50 times over on Israel if they nuked a middle eastern country.
That's why Ron Paul is so popular with young kids. To say "we should just mind our own business", is such simple reasoning, to the most complex issue a country has on its table (foreign policy).
And Paul, believe it or nor there are groups and governments, outside of America that want us destroyed, and that's NOT Americas fault.

Maybe they wouldn't want us destroyed if we stayed out of their internal affairs and just conducted free & open trade with them? Hey,there's an idea no? They don't have to be our enemy.
