You are failing to link either homosexuality or heterosexuality as predisposed to pedophilia.

I see this as not about consent, but about the pedophiles wanting protected status. Because they are sexual deviants, it will help them to feel as if they are doing no wrong, help them to feel normal because it is how they were born, which is of course non sense.

The problem with your ideal is this: You are making a sweeping comparison between a homosexual desire and a pedophile's desire of wanting to have sex with prepubescent children.
You fail to acknowledge that homosexuals are consenting legal adults who share the responsibility in society of paying taxes, voting, driving, working and other adult things and prepubescent children do not and are not capable of making adult choices in regards to sex so they are a protected class as they should be.
No where does will ANY law say that a person with homosexual preferences is now allowed to force heterosexuals to be homosexuals. You see adults must consent.
Children do not work, pay taxes, votes. They are not adults and not responsible.
