While I appreciate your concern, it isn't warranted, nor required. I have had 4 generations of my family who served in every war since WWI. My father (who served in Iraq in Desert Storm) in particular had to fight with the VA in 2010 so he could get a rare nervous condition treated. He failed. So he had to take a more direct route, by paying out of pocket to be treated. Beforehand though, his entire left arm had gone completely numb and he would randomly pass out while standing. I was with him for a week to help my youngest brother help take care of him. I have witnessed first hand, how the VA failed to help my father.
So count me as one of those folks who have veteran members of their families, who have had to watch as they suffered, or die, because of a failure of the country they fought to protect to return the favor by protecting them.
