Unions make auto companies competitive, or do they? Working at the Big Three, workers make more money than their rivals anyway. Do they work as hard as their rivals? Why should they, they already made the dough. Would you know, they are having a hard time staying afloat. Now they need a lifeboat, a life vest, and probably a couple more "can i take money off the taxpayers'" chest (seems like blank checks). Will they be competitive than before? Or will they regress. Because simply our Big Three Auto Industry is already a big mess. If my neighbor who doesn't have a good job, can't pay the fucking bill, comes to me, "can you hand me a check". If i was the government, here's a blank check. And my neighbor continues to be unable to get a job, pay the bill, can't pay me back, so i guess it was a great heist.

(One of them when I lived in Europe so that doesn't count. It was a Volvo and it sucked). So, out of 11 cars 2 have been foreign. I've done my part.
