Are there any Republicans here who are not pleased that the RNC is keeping the names of Trump's primary opponents off of ballots in many states?

Any Trombies willing to admit that the GOP primary is rigged?

Where are your links?? Closed. start another with links if you wish.

This is not actually unusual when the state parties decide that a primary is an unnecessary expense when the nomination of the incumbent is a foregone conclusion.

who determines if it is a foregone conclusion?

Everybody?! Wow, so how does that process work? That would make me part of everybody and I’d say there is no forgone conclusion, you’d say there is... now what?

Who are they?

Why do nutbags play dumb so often?
Maybe they aren’t playing... some of the posts on this board are just mind numbingly stupid

I know. But there is no way that a rabid Trombie doesn't know the names of every person who's even hinted at running.

The state party bosses. At this point there are no serious contenders that could conceivably challenge the president. If there were there would be a primary. This has actually happened many times by both parties in nearly every state. Primaries cost parties a fair amount of money.

Because, snowflake morons, if somebody had the slightest chance MSM would be shouting from the roof tops.

The Republican Presidential candidate for 2020 was determined when we voted for Trump in November of 2016. The fact that some States are allowing opposition candidates a ballot is traitorous to the President so far as I’m concerned.

perhaps it’s time to start talking about reforming our campaign and election process

Our political system is utterly corrupt, noticing half of it is gets you half way to understanding your reality. Are you not aware the the DNC argued in court post the 2016 election that they had no legal responsibility to honor the wishes of primary voters come the general election?

Sure, like we talk about immigration but refuse to legislate on it.

Well yeah. Trouble is, reform would necessarily require everyone to honestly address the problems and and voluntarily give up the advantages that our problems give certain parties and interests.

Not a Republican, but, they are not rigged, and the yes/no of primaries is split as you would expect. Sorry no story here.
