Why do you people insist on deluding yourself into thinking that we can keep spending like a drunken sailor and that there will be no consequences? Why do you pretend that we can ignore the Federal Governments assumption of power it doesn't have and that nothing bad will come of this?

We have thousands of years of evidence. We plenty of examples of what hasn't worked in government. We have plenty of writings extolling the virtue of self government and limited powers. Yet you guys still insist on spending what we don't have and extending powers to government bodies which they have no right or need to have.

Are you seriously going to destroy yourselves and all of us with you before you learn what you should have known from the cradle?

We tried growing the size of government and it's a failure. The dems super charged that idea and failed superbly.

the dims idea of cutting $6 B is the cost of a single day of government.
The rips idea of $61B is just over 10 days.

Well to be honest I could care less about the poor my friend. Most of them are in the position they are in through their own lack of responsibility. I'm all about personal resonsibility. Thats how my life rolls and I have little patience for those without it.

I feel no urge to pay for their food, medical care, dental care anymore than I would pay someones car payment, mortgage or their kids tuition to college.

However, as I said, if you and folks like you are so concerned. Pool your money and you take care of them. Wonder how long your money would last?? Not long. Once folks realize your handing it out they will be more than happy to take it.

If the poor lost their free ride they would adjust and start taking care of themselves. Thats what happend in 96.

I am 68 and trying to retire but can't do it yet. Washington is cutting medicare so no doctors will take me, problem solved. I either die early so can't vote or get sick and can't get to the poles, they win both ways.

I fully know Avatar is against handouts on all ends of the spectrum.... not FOR handouts to corporations or 'the rich' and AGAINST them for 'the poor'
