Put The Trans-Fat Back In The Chicken

Have you ever noticed that the chicken from KFC tastes much better from the stores in black neighborhoods than from other stores? They must bring their own lard from home.

If one wants an authentic taste, it should be cooked in lard, not Crisco.

Actually the article doesn't mention lard, Crisco, or anything having to do with cooking at all, whatsoever. It's entirely about marketing. I think this thread needs to be flushed into TBB.

And here it is --- TBB 156

I didn't bother with the link. I'm just addressing the OP's assertion.

He completely pulled that out of his ass. Which is Merkin for non sequitur.

Ya numbskulls. It's tasted like shit ever since you went all Michelle on it.

KFC is fixing a mistake it has been making for years

What the fuck is wrong with you? The article says nothing about "trans fats" or any fats whatsoever.

Dipshit.

You know, you could occasionally pay attention to your surroundings.

KFC to stop using trans fats in some items

That isn't AT ALL your OP here. It's not even related to it --- and it's TEN YEARS OLD.

The present article mentions absolutely nothing about food ingredients. Zero. It's about image.

What a silly lad you are. From the article -

"Customers were saying, 'Your food doesn't taste the same,'" Jason Marker, KFC's US president, said Monday in a press event. "We're not making the food the same way the Colonel had, and we're not making food in what he described as 'the hard way.' Today marks the end of that."

KFC began losing customers immediately upon changing the recipe in 2007.

Did you read "the hard way" as "the lard way"?
Because that entire ARTICLE makes no mention whatsoever of cooking methods OR ingredients. It's actually entirely vague about what it's saying. Yet you plug in "trans-fats" and "Michelle". Out of nothing.

KFC began losing customers immediately upon changing the recipe in 2007.

Article says nothing of that kind either. Link?
Your article is about marketing and customer service and trumpeting its "Colonel" icon. Says absolutely zero about trans fats... lard.... Crisco..... changing recipes or what's actually IN the food. It isn't even ABOUT food. It's about marketing and perceptions.

It's always a good idea to read your own link before painting yourself into a corner.

Your ability to match blocks with holes is astonishingly non-existent.
