I am leaning that way. I haven't taken any of the sacraments yet but I have a good relationship with the RCIA director of the parish near me. Been to Mass once and plan on going regularly.

I have a million questions. I also spend a lot of time making rosaries and I donate them to the order of Sisters of Perpetual Adoration in a town near me, to sell in their gift shop. It's a wonderful way to focus my energy.

Divine Mercy is a beautiful prayer.

I understand. I, too, have seen documentaries that have changed my perspective on life. But please stop talking about "leftists". They don't actually exist except in political propaganda.

Of course they exist, just as those on the right side exist.

The left side is all iterations of collectivism where the individualism is subservient to the "greater good of society".

Constitutional republics are based on representation of the people based on a non-biased legal system where we are all equal according to the law.

I'll never say liberals shouldn't exist. I simply say liberals don't exist. As I see it, every person is some blend of liberal, conservative, and moderate thoughts. To remove their conservative or liberal mental parts completely leaves them a crippled person. Only the extremists believe they are wholly one or the other. Extremists can be dangerous, but they are a minority. I believe in dictatorship by majority. It's not perfect, but what other options are there?

oh wow... a trip down Memory Lane! I used to do that: make rosaries with a group of Catholics once a week. I had to move from that area.. and haven't found something similar but good for you, making rosaries... a rosary is what made me a practicing Christian.. I was always kind of wimpy before I encountered the rosary prayers...

it has not been a bed of thornless roses since I first prayed the rosary--hardly--but I just tell myself it wasn't exactly a bed of thornless roses for Jesus either...

not familiar with them these days at all. And now I am a Sedevacantist (which means I believe / know that the Chair of St Peter [aka as the Vatican] is vacant)

I don't frequent novus ordo parishes... can't say I don't miss them, though... I'm perpetually confused (at least about certain things...)... re both political issues and Church issues

The jurors didn't all necessarily become 100% pro life in that they began to support all human life from conception until death (save the death penalty), but they became more in favor of restrictions after a particular age of gestation, say 10 weeks or whatever...

Roe v. Wade allows unrestricted abortion on demand through the second trimester.

Yet two-thirds of Americans are opposed to abortion beyond the first trimester.
