the people can amend the constitution by a 2/3 majority vote.
the court is there to aplly constitutional standards. If there is a constitutional amendment banning abortions then legal abortions are over.

We are nowhere near that threshold and so there is no threat to abortion rights at present. But if enough Americans vote against it ... they can outlaw the practice.

What they don't discuss is the ongoing leftist re-write of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger. In reality she was a RAGING racist and bigtime believer and promoter of eugenics. She supported abortion as the means of reducing, controlling and eventually forcing the extinction of the black population as well as thought government would be justified in using forced sterilization of blacks and others she deemed to have "bad genes" even if it meant doing it without their knowledge and consent. She believed in the forced sterilization of anyone she believed had "bad genes" which included most criminals, the mentally ill, the mentally and physically handicapped, the poor and much of the lower middle class -and the overwhelming majority of blacks. She believed government should offer those deemed to have "bad genes" their choice of sterilization or segregation and denied the rights of the elite- she also believed the elite had an inherent right to rule. She saw birth control and abortion as the means of weeding out all undesirables in society while she and elites reserved the right to decide who the undesirables would be. And in her worldview, blacks were definitely "undesirable". She was NEVER motivated out of some warm, fuzzy misguided concern for women but by a cold, heartless calculation and opinion that society was better off if some groups were just eliminated entirely and the proper role of government was to MAKE IT HAPPEN.

The theory of eugenics is just one of multiple examples of the evil that comes from leftists (and it is ONLY leftists who do it) pretending scientists are gods and their theories are writ in stone, not to be challenged but instead should be politicized and the basis for government policy. The deliberately politicized theory of eugenics was responsible for the murders and deaths of tens of millions of people, applauded by people like that evil skank Sanger.

The left is actively re-writing her history in order to bury her own NUMEROUS racist statements and writings in order to present her as some kind of "touchy-feely" faux Mother Theresa kind of character. The left's defense of this person is all out and disgusting. I heard a black woman on tv actually insist Sanger was no racist whatsoever and only concerned with womens health and welfare -total BULLSHIT! Talk about pathetic self delusion when the truth is right there for all o see. Sanger was a typical leftist, a bigot and total racist just as most of them are and easily discovered with a bare scratching of their surface. In Sanger's case she wore it proudly except when discussing how to use black ministers to help deceive blacks and hide the fact she and her buddies were actually advocating the extinction of the black race. If I was ever going to call a woman by the C word, it would be this one who wrote "blacks and Jews are a menace to the race" and "Slavs, Latins and Hebrews are human weeds" and "the most merciful thing a family does to one of its infant members is to kill it." One can only hope she is rotting in hell where she belongs.

Funny...before six months to a year ago...no one knew who Sanger was. Now the right think they are experts. What you don't realize is that prejudice is not a lib/con thing...it's a people thing.

Where you numbnuts make your mistake is to think that Sanger's ideas on race is the issue with PP.
so maybe the original flawed ideas of one woman evolved into something that provides valuable services to women of all races and creeds. See how that works?
