Embracing American exceptionalism is very good and it is very inspiring and patriotic. She is right that we should embrace it. We are a unique country and we should be a proud people who believes America is the best country in the world to live in. Sarah believes that we should be envied in the world that we should set the standard of how society should be and set the standard on how democracy should be looked upon. She believes that we should be number one and not settle for anything less. We should all agree on that. We are exceptional because we have the best military hardware and fighting forces. We are exceptional because we have a constitution that provides the freedoms of how we live. Sarah Palin in nothing but a exceptional American patriot who has come along at the right time in our history to save us from President Obama and his nightmarish vision to trample the constutution and rip the inner fabric of the nation out and destroy our democracy. Obama doesn't believe in American Exceptionalism and that is dangerous. We should all embrace her and American Exceptionalism.

Sarah Palin quote on American Exceptionalism in speech the other day:

“We can’t lose this next generation — we have to keep teaching them what it means to be an American — the American exceptionalism that so many of us do embrace . . . We can’t lose that for the next generation that will soon be rising up and be our leaders.”

Sarah Palin is good for this country, She's doing her part to advance the Conservative constitutionalist cause, but do I think she should run for President? No although she might make a good President, For sure a hell of a lot better then Obummer the socialist, She can't win. She's not quick enough on her feet with her opinions and answers to questions put to her, She just can't win right now maybe in the future if she improves

She can win and she answered tough questions to become governor beating 2 well seasoned governors for the top job. As Bill Clinton said last month about her: "Don't underestimate this woman. She's very clever".

They said the same things about Reagan's intelligence as they are saying about Palin's. Her beliefs about America, the military, the enemy and our allies, not to mention the economy are much more in line with the majority of people than Odumbo's are. People now are finding out what it's like to have a Communist in the WH.

It will be nice to have a real American patriot in there instead when President Palin takes the oath.

Yea? Well, in order to be envied across the globe...

in order to set the standard for the way a society should be...

In order to be number one and not settle for anything less...

In order to BE exceptional, in every societal aspect other than our military...

we have to do pretty much the opposite of everything I have heard her open her mouth about in the last couple of years...

and follow Obama a bit more closely. Because, whether I agree that he is doing an awesome job or not, the man has definitely set a good standard for how people should interact, and has definitely increased the way the world views this country, whichis the first step in at least two of your points.

The world hates him. Sarkozy publicly said he thinks Obama is insane. The Arab world doesn't even like him and Russia has no respect for him. He is probably the most laughed at American president in history with his stupid teleprompter.

She will have my vote

Usually your posts are kinda sucky. But this? ^ Spot on.

Yes good words, but what has she actually done in this area?

She's rallied conservatives from their slumber (and we're not going back to sleep).

Why wouldn't Americans want America to be exceptional, to be the country all the other countries look up to? Shouldn't we strive to be the best?

As far as Sarkozy is concerned, that depends upon which day you ask him the question. The Arabian countries dont like much of anyone. Russia? From April 12, 2010:

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev told ABC's George Stephanopoulos that President Obama is a "thinker" unlike "other people." The Russian president seemed to be referring to President George W. Bush.

"I won't name anyone by name," he said.

In a rambling fashion, Medvedev also talks in vague terms about an "agreement" reached between President Barack Obama and his own country over reducing the number of active missiles in their respective arsenals.

"We agreed upon and we spoke about with President Obama and talked about with American representatives that we should cooperate in the creation of global missile defense systems," he added. "But if that process will go eventually on such a scenario which, according to our impression, will lead to the quantity changes, then such a question could be posed by our side. And this is the principle of that reasoning, and understanding as well about that oral statement yesterday."

There ARE a lot of people who are not fond of how Obama is handling some things, like me. Maybe we expected a little more? But my original statement still stands, as it has not been refuted by your statements. :)

Rallying conservatives from slumber does not necessarily equate to America being exceptional.

:cuckoo: If you think that agreement is a good deal for the U.S. You're delusional while Russia scraps some of its junk that it can't maintain anyway we pull top of the line nukes off line and reduce our moderation all the while Russia helps Iran with it's nuke program and signs a deal with Hugo Chavez...Thankfully that stupid treaty will never get though congress

True, but it's a start and you've got to start some place.

The debate was other countries that like/ dislike Obama...stay on topic please. :)

Oddly, I can agree with that. But it will not be Sarah Palin that unites conservatives, you can bank on that. She may help them realize what that used to mean, by her over the top statements though, and I believe that will be a good thing.

Based on my opinion of what I've seen of her...Obama would take her apart in a debate..but thats just my opinion.
