Everyone on this board has an opinion on economics and politics. The question I have is how much is the tax Reform bill a tax on the Democratic party. Since I love taxing the party of genocide Jackson's big lies and hopefully wrecking it beyond repair my prejudices are out there I will go on from there.

The cost of labor in high SALT blue states reflects the higher cost of living caused by the end of unlimited deductions for state and local taxes. This in turn creates incentives for employers and employees to leave high SALT mostly blue states for lower SALT states. Moving is much cheaper for employers than employees. That is why job openings, wage increases and therefore wage push inflation happens mostly in the red states but interest rate increases are nationwide.

This is a death spiral for the Ds but my question is was intended to be so? my answer is yes, what's yours?
