well...., we all share most of our DNA though we are white, brown, black or any other shade or from other parts of the world. There are certain marker that do distinguish racial types. We can send a blood sample and it will tell us our heritage and genetic origins. Some of us are mutts and some might be of one or two major types. A handful might be almost pure bloods.
