Would have been...it was a blow out and a costly lost for Green Bay with some key injuries.

LOL! Why WOULD you have anticipated it?I didn't anticipate Sherman blocking a Packer player right into Thomas on that first half punt causing a loss of possession and giving GB the ball within easy scoring distance.
disagree.I like it like it is.what better way to have the opening night kickoff be the superbowl champions? they should have had their game they have against them in two weeks at the clink for the thursday night game though to open the season.i mean the two superbowll teams, why not? i think its because they dont want the media darling manning to get embarrassed again on national tv.This game should be on Sunday Night instead of "Indianapolis at Denver"
maybe but they wont win.I think Packers will put up at least 17 points.
Agree. Seahawks put up 29.
If it is possible to create one half of a single dimension the Packers did just that. Their run game got stuffed and Rodgers became one dimensional ...then cut that dimension in half.
Talk about your mind boggling physics problems.. LOL
The REAL key to Seattle's relatively easy victory was that Aaron Rodgers never threw the ball to his right side...not even once.
Astounding.
Maybe it is because Byron Maxwell doesn't talk all the time about how good he is that he doesn't get the respect he deserves. But the stats should have spoken loud and clear as Maxwell snatched 4 interceptions in his last 5 regular season games after replacing Brandon Browner in the "Legion of Boom" last season. Add one more interception to that total.
So now physicists all across the country will have to study the effects of half a dimension... well maybe not...but the OC's of Seattle's future opponents had better understand the creation of half a dimension or they will suffer the same results as the Packers.
Why do we keep putting Aaron Rodgers up on that pedestal marked the best QB in the NFL?
Last night his QB passer rating was a very average to below average 81.5. Wilson just breaking into his third season had a rating of 110.9.
And what caused Rodgers low marks? Was it some flukey play where the ball just bounced crazy? No. It was Rodgers just making a bad throw and Byron Maxwell making him pay for it.
I'm not trying to say Wilson is the best QB in the NFL. I'm just not so sure that title belongs to Aaron Rodgers any more.
29 for Seattle held up until 2:31 left in the game. Thought GB defense was better then it was. Nyet! Packers can forget about being in the NFC conference game.
Seahawks pick up where they left off. Formidable at home!

With Payton Manning, Brees and Brady still around Rodgers would come in at the most 4th and maybe lower with raising stars like Foles and Luck in the mix. As much as I hate to say it but I think Culter is better than Rodgers.
But its all about that Green Bay hype that we have to listen to year after year.
Some of that pressure was taken off of Rodgers when what's his name, 22nd pick, Johnny and before him was BR3 or whatever his name is..you know the one who will lead his team to a cellar finish in the NFC East.

My prediction of 40 plus to 10 wasn't too far off.
I didn't anticipate Sherman blocking a Packer player right into Thomas on that first half punt causing a loss of possession and giving GB the ball within easy scoring distance. Take away that play and the resulting TD and it would have been a blowout.

36 is now near 50? Lol!
It is, sort of, when you can reasonably speculate from watching the game that if Sherman hadn't blocked his man right into Thomas with a big impact that Seattle would have had possession in very good field position. In all likelyhood Seattle probably would have scored. Take away the TD that GB got off the extremely rare interference call on Bobby Wagner and voila Seattle wins with 43... I did say between 40-50.
It isn't a huge stretch that Seattle could have scored more points and held GB to fewer. That penalty that was in fact totally justified was the Packers longest play and without it they wouldn't have scored on that drive. All Wagner would have had to do is turn his head. He is one of the most talented linebackers in the NFL. I think it was a case where the noise in the Clink worked against the Hawks for a change. The Seattle DBs work as well together as any in the league. There is no doubt that Sherman and Maxwell gave a yell to Bobby and he just didn't hear them. It's not like he prevented the GB receiver from making the catch. The ball was overthrown. It was third down. Seattle would have got the ball back on the next play.
So the final score without those two plays should have been 43-9.
It doesn't really matter now does it. Seattle sure started better in 2014 than 2013 when they just eeked out a win in Carolina. Green Bay is arguably a top 5 team in the NFC and Seattle beat them convincingly. If the Hawks spank the Chargers next Sunday and repeat the Super Bowl beatdown of Denver the week after without sustaining any serious injuries to key players like Harvin we may be witnessing one of the better seasons for any team in NFL history.

It means you were way off, it could have, should have, would have means absolutely nothing. You stated close to 50 to 10. Read your own damn words, the final score is what it is, not close to 50.
