Investigator says Trump, allies were part of Michigan election scheme despite not being charged

DETROIT (AP) — A state investigator testified Wednesday that he considers former President Donald Trump and his White House chief of staff to be uncharged co-conspirators in a scheme to claim that he had won Michigan in the 2020 election, despite Democrat Joe Biden’s clear victory.

Trump and Mark Meadows were among the names mentioned during the cross-examination of Howard Shock, whose work led to forgery charges against more than a dozen people in Michigan. A judge in the state capital is holding hearings to determine if there’s enough evidence to order a trial.

A defense attorney, Duane Silverthorn, offered a series of names and asked Shock if they were “unindicted co-conspirators,” which means they weren’t charged but could have been part of an alleged plot to put Michigan’s electoral votes in Trump’s column.

Prosecutors from the attorney general’s office didn’t object. Shock responded “yes” to Trump, Meadows, Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani and some high-ranking state Republicans.

Criminality oozes from their pores. I believe he was also an unindicted co-conspirator in the charging docs when Cohen was indicted. Something the ultimately corrupt Billy the Bagman tried very hard to conceal by pressuring the SDNY to redact references to Individual 1.

Says “he considers”, which means…opinion.

Nope..the story is opinion..it says it right at the beginning.

That word tells me it’s opinion.
The story is a reflection of the facts of the case. Trump and Giuliani's fingerprints are all over the fake elector scheme.

Roger Roger. Well, there’s a court case already scheduled for that, so, let’s see how it goes..

Once again Trump is under a gag order but a "state investigator" is free to leak a story alleging an election scheme. it must be getting desperate out there on the left since old Joe is showing even more mental incompetence.
Leak a story? The fake electors in MI have been indicted.

If one wants a little more background on that indicted criminality in Michigan, well, Lawfare has a pretty good synopsis of not only Michigan, but also the other 6 states who submitted such ballots.

Check it out here: How States Are Investigating and Prosecuting the Trump Fake Electors

Lawfare does say this about Michigan:
"All defendants initially pleaded not guilty. In October 2023, the attorney general announced a cooperation deal with James Renner, one of the fake electors, and dropped all criminal charges against him. During the same period, the court completed arraignment hearings for the remaining 15 defendants and assigned dates for preliminary hearings to determine whether prosecutors have provided sufficient evidence to move forward with the criminal proceedings. Judge Kristen Simmons held an initial batch of preliminary hearings over the winter and is scheduled to continue these hearings in April and May. One defendant, Timothy King, was referred for an additional hearing to determine whether he is competent to stand trial.

I didn't know that there was a 'gag order' on Trump in the Michigan fraudulent ballot cases.
So, poster 'whitehall'...which court? which indicted defendant? or is it all defendants?
Do you have a citation? A link to a credible and responsible publication? Detroit Free Press? Lansing State Journal? University of Michigan Law School?

Appreciate your help in furthering our understanding of this Michigan "gag order".

Also reported today in an opinion piece:

"One predictable effect of the various states charging the fake electors is that because these people were State Party officials, any lawyers hired by the defendants will very likely have their fees paid by the state party.
e.g. In GA, the State Republican party has spent 1.7 MILLION dollars in the last 3 months on criminal defense legal fees.

This pattern is also playing out in Nevada, Michigan and will now likely repeat in Arizona, as the former State Party chair and other party officials were charged.
This has the effect of diverting resources away from things like a ground game and voter registration in very closely divided states."

And when those charged make deals and start squealing, then the cult high priests get indicted.
