As to your poll question, if they are harmless and not hurting anyone, then they should not be locked away. That should be reserved for the dangerous ones. I do believe that the transgenders are emotionally/mentally unstable people though, and probably should not be serving in the military.

Notice none of them look like the pictures that some will post of transgenders? You know the ones who actually look like the opposite gender (at least in photoshopped pictures and with a shit ton of makeup on). The ones pictured above are what most of them actually look like. Unless they are Asian. Asians seem to be able to pull off switching genders much easier than say a Caucasian man or woman can. It's weird. Lol.

You know, my personal opinion is that if they have to institute a draft, then anyone who is age eligible and physically qualified should be included. That means gays (they have been serving since the military began anyway), as well as males and females, and if the transgendered person is qualified and can serve, they should be included as well.

I understand that, but to conflate such a medical procedure into a "nightmare" is hyperbole. It's surely less of an imposition on the healthcare situation of the serious injuries suffered by combat.

Glad to hear. My dad thinks the majority of guys serving are white guys. I didn't think that was true either.

And my buddy at work said his black drill sergeant put an end to it when the black guys started to form a click and started getting racial. He said, "you aint pulling that shit here". I know what he meant because I saw black guys do this in college. We were dorm room mates and in a couple weeks instead of the blacks hanging out with us they started to gravitate towards other blacks on campus. I would have been happy to continue hanging out with those black guys but they wanted to hang with the brothers.

Of the two TI's Tech Sergeant was white, Staff was black.

Have the utmost respect for both of them. Racism was not tolerated even though those who were black, as were those who were white gravitated to their own at times. Same as the Hispanics. It was expected.

We held together as a Flight and worked together to meet or exceed our requirements. Only two of 50 were held back for retraining.

No one had an issue with the cliques. There was no animosity.

Some of the time we would sing in harmony. We had a blast singing the blues and everyone had a good time.
