I think Tim Tebow is GREAT! He took a team with a terrible defense, a
slightly better than mediocre offense with a front line that blows,
and got them into the playoffs.
Were they going to beat NE? No friggin' way.

But I think he's great. And I love that he's so politically incorrect! (Willing to thank God publicly for all that he receives). It's like people who smoke cigarettes in casinos - OMG so politically incorrect! Heaven forbid they make their own choice.

So BOY does Tebow piss off those demanding everything be politically correct and that Christians not be allowed to publicly be who they are (as opposed to gays, Muslims etc...).
They obssess over him! Have you seen all the threads and such? It's great! :clap2:

    Go Tim!

Christians are not allowed to show their faith publicly.

Good for him for not being ashamed of Christs love.

I don't think we can yet call Tebow "great". He's certainly good enough to play and good enough to win. Wether he ends up being great or not remains to be seen.

Tim Tebow and the Broncos did great this year.

I haven't heard any Muslim players using their team to promote Muhammad.

I constantly hear athletes thank god during post-game or -fight interviews. Tebow's rise to prominence in the media is not just because he shows his faith publicly. I'm not entirely sure WHY he gained such fast celebrity, but if simply showing Christian faith in public did it, there would be a new love/hate fest every week when another athlete started thanking god or Jesus.

Well here's the deal. What if after every td he thanked God for living in a country that allowed him to be openly gay without persecution? Would LibDems shet their pants and post threads about how terrible THAT was? Of course not. But because he makes a quick and simple thanks to God for all that he has been blessed with, they go apeshet.
I find that pretty danm hypocritical.
