Obomination: Gas Prices Soar Faster Than News Can Report It...

obama's federal gas tax has nothing to do with the rise in gas prices?

When Bush took office in Jan 2001, what was his first priority?

1. Setting up an anti-terrorism policy
2. Setting up a universal healthcare program
3. Setting up a long term energy policy

Yes friends ...it was 3

Bush assigned Dick Cheney to chair a closed energy policy task force comprised of Enron and oil company lobbyists. Dick Cheney scoffed at ideas like energy conservation, renewable energy sources and alternative fuels. The oil companies would have none of it

The Bush energy policy was balls to the walls drill baby drill and we are now paying the price for his shortsightedness eleven years later

It's 2012 the past can't hurt you. but much more of obama's future can.

We have been kicking the national energy policy can down the road for 35 years. We are weak and refuse to make hard decisions

Bush put comprehensive energy policy as his number one priority.......he let Enron and the oil companies decide our energy policy

and obama is trying to kill it now

Every 10-20 cents over 4 bucks is going to be a 1% drop come election day for P-BO I bet.

"on the way to the bank they need to make a quick drop off to a politicians pocket. "

No doubt about it. And there is NOBODY alive who can say that there isnt corruption between big oil and gov't, especially in america. I live where we used to get(not any more, something is going on with the climate) over 200 inches of snow. I traded my 4 x 4 for a small car. It rides well in up to 8 inches of snow. After that, it gets touch and go.

huh? no one can change the past.
He did make changes in the past that impact us and so did Bush.

You are the group that says 911 changed everything. Well that is the past isn't it?

We had a path that the founders had paved, obama changed that path

So did many other presidents and congresses and even the supremes.

Bush did our first preemptive invasion/war.

The constitution clearly states that Congress must be the ones to declare war.
We have no formally declared war at this time do we?

Congress should have been smart enough to deny the war in iraq. They lined up like sheep and said "yes sir" It's only war, why think about it? Just go man, just go.

True

The founders never would have allowed the election of a black man

You always got to make it about race. You are a racist piece of shit.

Mr. Dumb Ass, Sir:

Identify by Article, Section and Clause the Constitutional Proviso which forbids a Negro from becoming a US President.

The part that declares him 3/5 of a human being. The founders made it clear they were not about to make blacks equal citizens

Don't believe me.....read the Dred Scott decision where they made it clear blacks were property and not entitled to the rights of citizens

"My questions for those who condemn the three-fifths compromise are: Would blacks have been better off if slaves had been counted as a whole person? Should the North not have compromised at all and a union not have come into being? Would Rangel and Sharpton have agreed with Southerners at the Constitutional Convention, who argued slaves should “stand on an equality with whites” in determining congressional representation and Electoral College votes? Abolitionist Frederick Douglass understood the compromise, saying that the three-fifths clause was “a downright disability laid upon the slaveholding states” that deprived them of “two-fifths of their natural basis of representation.”

SCOTUS opinions are not the law of the land. And most of the time they do not correctly quote the US Constitution.

The Chief Justice at the time, Roger Brooke Taney, was a racist scumbag who issued an opinion to appease the Southern States.
