Obama's Involvement In Bin Laden Takedown Was Simply A Nod

Obama has been failed by his own hubris.

Only in the insipidly stubborn and intellectually bankrupt little minds of folk like YOU, Annie.

I mean JEEZ, Obama gets the man responsible for 9/11 and all you and your dopey ass allies can do is squawk, "he's arrogant!", and then REPEAT failed accusations and IGNORE FACTS and testimony that doesn't agree with your animosity for the man. Do you truly understand how fucked up you are with that attitude Annie?

Want cheese with that whine????

You on the left are still crying over Bush landing on that carrier. The only reason I said anything about Obama's classless victory-lap is because we never hear the end of your bawling about it.

Not only is Mudwhistle full of it, he's also a very poor liar. I mean, Mudwhistle STARTS a thread accusing the President of NOT giving credit to the people responsible for getting Bin Ladin, and essentially being a rubber stamp.

However, when I provided FACTS to the contrary, Mudwhistle just REFUSES to accept it, let alone acknowledge it. http://www.usmessageboard.com/5221956-post1032.html

And to add insult to injury, Mudwhistle now tries to cover his error with some revisionist clap trap as to the reason he originally posted. Pity the chronology of the posts contradicts this latest excuse by Mudwhistle.

Poor neocon/teabagger parrots....yet another of their patented bullhorns torn asunder, and their just losing their feathers about it!

A good example of how the Obama Administration works can be illustrated today.

Russia is threatening to carry out strikes against NATO defense sites.
Afghanistan is falling apart before our eyes.
Iraq is in turmoil.
China is pissed at us for accepting a well known blind Chinese dissent and threatening to cut fragile ties with our government.

What is Obama doing?

Campaigning.

That's it.

Who's running this government while Obama is eating hot-dogs and giving speeches?

Poor Mudwhistle...just another stupid little neocon/teabagger flunkie who just keeps spouting BS supposition and conjecture, then covers his ears, closes his eyes and yells "La-la-la" when shown FACTS that prove him wrong: http://www.usmessageboard.com/5221956-post1032.html

Mudwhistle is an apt screen name for this idiot!

A couple of nights ago, NBC's Brian Williams did an episode of his show Rock Center, he did a full hour interviewing the President, as well as everyone that was there in the Situation Room. ALL of the people (including the President) sang the praises of SEAL Team 6 and how well they performed their job.

It was also said by several top people in the room (Panetta for one) that they probably wouldn't have made that call because there was only a 40-60 percent chance that he was actually there, and if they landed and DIDN'T find him, there would have been hell to pay for an incursion into Pakistani airspace.

The GOP would have torn him apart if the mission had missed or failed.

So, that "head nod" you say that he did was just the tip of the iceberg Pud Whistler.

Okay Gaybiker.......how do you suppose the GOP could tear anyone apart?

Obama owns most of the media.

How would they do it?

Obama owns NBC, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, MTV, HBO, Comedy Central, etc.

All the GOP has is slightly more balanced reporting on Fox News.

You know........most of the shit you argue can't be proved, can it?

If they missed? The GOP would be all over him for faulty judgement, and no, Obama doesn't "own" all those television stations because if he did, he'd be bigger than Murdoch. And, matter of fact, I've seen them give him some pretty hardball questions.

It's your party that mainly appears on FAUX Nooze whenever they want to appear on television, because that is the only place where they treat them with kid gloves. And, Boehner and all the other senators and representatives would be screaming at the television cameras that Obama made a bad call.

If they had missed AND taken casualties? It would be a repeat of Carter's failure to get the hostages out.

If they had gotten him, but killed several SEALs? Well, the GOP would be all over him about the death of the Special Operations people, even though they'd gotten OBL.

Try again Pud Whistler, your rhetoric is easy to see through.

To be honest, I would at least give him points for trying.

I never criticized Carter openly for trying.....even though I've been to enough briefings that started out "There will be no more Desert Ones."

I honestly don't know how I would react. But then again you don't really know how the GOP would react ether. You're just speculating.

Any time the GOP has found something to bitch about the President on, they're in front of television cameras screaming that Obama is a socialist. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that I know how the GOP leadership is going to react.

You know as well as I do that's all Democrats in Washington have been doing since the 2000 election......."We were robbed........The Supreme court gave him the election.......Bush doesn't care about the troops........Bush lied people died.......The Attorney General fired 9 Federal Judges........Cheney outed a CIA operative......I inherited the worst economy since the Great Depression......".

Must I go on???

Bush did lie about WMDs or at least concealed the read doubt about the evidence while sexing up the incredible lack thereof (We don't want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud).

The AG did fire 9 Judges as I recall.

Cheney did out a CIA Operative or his COS did at least; most COS do not act on their own

Obama did inherit the worst economy since the Great Depression.

Please continue.

Okay, so now we're certain that Mudwhistle is a TOTAL neocon/teabagger flunkie nearing paranoid hysteria!

As the chronology of the posts shows, I proved his OP wrong, and now he's just pulling every and anything out of his ass in response. Pathetic.

The whole time I was in 5th Group I never had a pic taken of me in my uniform wearing my beret. The single most important reason I worked my ass off to be in Special Forces I never showed it off to anyone in pictures or video. When we deployed we never whore our Green Berets or even our names on our Desert Fatigues. As far as they knew we were all buck privates.

There is a reason for this. Because we know better than anyone how dangerous our missions can get. I've seen punks pick fights with Green Berets in the mess-hall just to prove they were bad. Usually the guy that made this mistake ended up ether dead or in the hospital or it resulted in the target simply walking away without saying a word.

What happens to a Special Ops soldier that becomes too visible overseas?

One of them was killed in the P.I. while I was in the Q-Course at Camp McCall.

James Nicholas "Nick" Rowe (February 8, 1938 – April 21, 1989) was a United States Army officer and one of only thirty-four American prisoners of war to escape captivity during the Vietnam War.[1] Colonel Rowe was credited with developing the rigorous Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) training program taught to high-risk military personnel (such as Special Forces and aircrews) and the U.S. military doctrine which institutionalizes these techniques and principles to be followed by captured personnel.

At around 7:00 in the morning of April 21, 1989, as he was being driven to work at the Joint U.S. Military Advisory Group headquarters in an armored limousine, Colonel Rowe's vehicle was hit by gunfire from a .45 caliber pistol and an M16 rifle near the corner of Tomas Morato Street and Timog Avenue in Quezon City. Twenty-one shots hit the vehicle; one round entered through an unarmored portion of the vehicle frame and struck Colonel Rowe in the head, killing him instantly. Rowe's driver, Joaquin Vinuya, was wounded. Years later, the New People's Army eventually claimed responsibility for his assassination. Two Filipinos were convicted by a Philippine court and sentenced to 16 years imprisonment for Rowe's assassination: Juanito T. Itaas as principal and Donato B. Continente as an accomplice. Continente was however, released in 1995, under a Philippine government amnesty program.

Rowe was buried May 2, 1989 in Section 48 of Arlington National Cemetery. James N. Rowe - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A friend of mine at HQ EUCOM was a Green Beret and I found it funny that he thought Tampa Florida (when visiting HQ CENTCOM) was more dangerous than Iraq because you could get carjacked off base in the wrong hood.

I've heard stories back in the 80s when we were in the PI. Marines would go around picking fights with "popeyes" at the bars to show how tough they were until they came across the SEALs dressed as Popeyes.

At NTC San Diego and MCRD San Diego the SEALs loved infiltrating the post and tying up the Marine guards. A friend of mine made it into the SEALs. He said they would practice breaking into rock concerts just to practice infiltrating, escape, and evasion.

I remember when I was in basic training they had a couple of SEALs they called Salt And Pepper. A big white guy and a short black guy who were Navy SEALs. They wore red, white, and blue agaletts or ropes on their shoulders. They showed up when some of the guys in my company were getting out of line. In 15 minutes of working them out they had one guy passed out and a bunch of them crying like pussies. Some of the stomach exercises they do seem almost impossible to do. I got so I was decent at it, but my best friend "Fred" who made it into SEALs used to do them for half an hour.

Sure. "A friend of yours."

Don't live in total denial dude. I don't think anybody in Tampa has ever been in great danger of getting kidnapped and then having their head cut off online.

But do keep lying and denying and dodging, you silly Mudwhistle you!
