Type in "Democrats blame Bush for 9/11". Remember the 18 mins they claimed he sat listening to a story about a duck in that classroom? They claimed he did nothing during that short period of time. From that they started claiming he relaxed security and generally screwed up protecting us. He allowed it to happen. He may have even planned it. Hollywood nut-cases claimed he set charges and brought one of the buildings down. It's been one thing after another. Forget the fact that Osama Bin Laden was in our grasp and Clinton felt he couldn't legally take him into custody. He wanted to treat it like a legal matter rather then a matter of national security.

So exactly what did President Bush do when informed that the country was under attack?

Nearly the entire country was behind him and the effort to kill or capture those responsible for the attacks that day. It wasn't until they morphed that effort into the invasion and occupation of Iraq that the real opposition to the Presidents policies began.

Would you like to discuss how the Republicans (teaming up with the ACLU) torpedoed President Clinton's efforts to combat terrorism? Or how about how Clinton, instead of blaming the previous administration, pursued the criminals who first bombed the WTC's?

A little known FACT. Raygun was less popular than Obama during the same time in his presidency. He got slammed in his first mid-terms, then the economy "bounced back" (I use the term loosely because history shows he used smoke and mirrors and band aids to fool the public) and he hit a homer in the 2004 elections.
