Obama taught constitutional law at the University level for 10 years. I'm sure he understands it better than any right winger in the nation.

Understanding it and supporting it are two different things. He is a socialist so he doesn't support it.

Obama held the title of "Senior Lecturer", not "Professor". But "Senior Lecturers" are considered "Professors" by U of C, just not tenure-track.

And, as a "Senior Lecturer", he still taught Constitutional Law for 10 years.

I think tomorrow things will be different, though, since Obama concentrated on the job situation today and already the right wing noise machine is beginning to bitch that he should be devoting his FULL attention to Egypt. Uh huh. And if he did, they'd be screeching that he should be devoting his FULL attention to jobs. Expect it.

yes I read it, I read part time, leave of absence, for 4 of those years he was working at a law firm as well.

A part-time teacher is still a teacher.

I have a friend who had Obama as a "Professor" at U of C. He said he was a complete ass.

But he was still a teacher...
