Nigerian Troops Fail in Battle to Reclaim Mubi, Leaving Lt. Colonel, Others dead

A Sahara Reporters source has revealed that the Nigerian troops given the mandate to liberate Mubi today have failed, resulting in the death of a Lieutenant Colonel and several other soldiers. They were said to have been ambushed several times by Boko haram insurgents.

A Nigerian army source, has confirmed that Maiha Local Government Area in Adamawa State was overtaken today by Boko Haram militants.
