Nicaragua's socialist regime has arrested another bishop as part of Nicaragua's crackdown on Catholics and the Catholic Church — perceived to constitute threats to Marxist dictator Daniel Ortega's stranglehold on power.
Bishop Isidro del Carmen Mora Ortega was on his way to celebrate the confirmations of 230 parishioners on Dec. 20 in La Cruz de Río Grande when Marxist paramilitaries intercepted him and dragged him away. According to El Pais, the bishop's whereabouts remain unknown.
When Pope Francis was notified, he commended his Marxist brother as heroic and said he was trying to rid the church of unwanted conservative clergy as well\ stating that the greatest threat to humanity was white Christian nationalism and global warming being second.
However, Ortega seems led to believe that Jesus had recently been born, not being familiar with the Christian story growing up in socialist Nicaragua. "They will not tell me where the Baby Jesus is so I can worship the king of kings of the Jews and all of humanity, "declare Ortega, "So the Catholic clergy had to die".
One government official tried telling Ortega that the baby Jesus was born thousands of years ago, but was also shot as a capitalist co-conspirator.
"I don't believe the fake capitalist fake news, show me this baby who will take my job and threaten our socialist utopia, I mean him no harm I just want to bring him gifts and all cuz I know that is what Capitalists like Jesus like".
When asked why he thought Jesus was a Capitalist, Ortez said, "Because he does not want me as king, so what else can he be? If you don't vote for me, you ain't a socialist"
