New Nickname for FoxNews: The Treason Channel

Def. of "ironic" - characterized by often poignant difference or incongruity between what is expected and what actually is; "madness, an ironic fate for such a clear thinker"; "it was ironical that the well-planned scheme failed so completely"

The irony, shit4brains, was you bitching about honesty...

lol

Honesty is a very difficult thing to face when facts pierce the conservative bubble of fantasy built on a foundation of delusion..

Howarddean, you wrote a lot of shit, but yet remain dishonest...

Awesome...

Honesty is a very difficult thing to face when facts pierce the conservative bubble of fantasy built on a foundation of delusion.

They become so upset at the encroaching reality, they resort to profanity and name calling. They have my sympathy. It must be terrible when their unfounded fears and imagined threats are pulled kicking and screaming out into the light for truthful examination.

Like Chicken Little, they have run in circles for so long, screaming, "The sky is falling, the sky is falling" that when the sky doesn't fall, they become disappointed and depressed. They begin to wonder, what else did they imagine?

Then there are those especially extreme that are so angry the sky didn't fall, they decide they need to do "something" to prove that they really were right. They are the "truly frightening" because you won't know what they will do until they do it. Ask Timothy McVeigh.

Timothy Mcviegh was not a conservative, him and Larry Nichols came out of good ole democratic Michigan. Shocking.

Fail yet again Mad Dog Numbnuts 2000.

Political beliefs

McVeigh was known throughout his life as a loner; his only known affiliations were voter registration with the Republican Party when he lived in New York, and a membership in the National Rifle Association while in the military.[11] Despite the former, McVeigh self-identified as a libertarian in a statement that was reported by MSNBC.com and The Washington Post;[12] and while in federal prison, he voted for Libertarian candidate Harry Browne in the 1996 United States presidential election.[13]

Just trying to help 'tard.

It is, yet you libs only bitch about FOXNews...

Why is that?

Because in its imperfection, Fox News does convey both sides and that means that in speaking the truth, Fox News, unlike CNN or MSLSD is much more likely to let slip some facts that liberals disfavor.

Since ABC, SeeBS NBC, MSLSD & CNN try assiduously to AVOID saying anything remotely negative about President Obama or any liberal Democrat Parody legislative initiative, there is nothing for the libs TO bitch about when it comes to those other "news" media outlets.

Never in my lifetime, has another news network, besides Fox, altered photos of people they don't like. Yellowed their teeth, lowered their hairline, put circles under their eyes to make them look threatening. What an odious station.

On Tuesday, MSNBC’s Contessa Brewer fretted over health care reform protesters legally carrying guns: "A man at a pro-health care reform rally...wore a semiautomatic assault rifle on his shoulder and a pistol on his hip....there are questions about whether this has racial overtones....white people showing up with guns." Brewer failed to mention the man she described was black.

Not only did Brewer, Ratigan, and Toure fail to point out the fact that the gun-toting protester that sparked the discussion was black, but the video footage shown of that protester was so edited, that it was impossible to see that he was black. The man appeared at a health care rally outside of President Obama’s speech to the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Phoenix, Arizona.

I'll assume that is not a lie, just ignorance:

CNN.com - Timothy McVeigh - March 29, 2001

His only known affiliations are as a registered Republican in his New York days, and as a member of the National Rifle Association while he was in the Army.

Let's not forget the photo of Condi Rice with the whites of her eyes all "whitened up"...

Yea, I took that picture myself just to see. I used the "sharpen" filter and it did the same thing to the eyes.

This is what USA Today had to say:

Editor's note: The photo of Condoleezza Rice that originally accompanied this story was altered in a manner that did not meet USA TODAY's editorial standards. The photo has been replaced by a properly adjusted copy. Photos published online are routinely cropped for size and adjusted for brightness and sharpness to optimize their appearance. In this case, after sharpening the photo for clarity, the editor brightened a portion of Rice's face, giving her eyes an unnatural appearance. This resulted in a distortion of the original not in keeping with our editorial standards.

USATODAY.com - Rice won't rule out U.S. troops in Iraq in 10 years

Now the pictures from FOX:

State of the Art: Fox News Alters Photos of Enemy Reporters

This is what FOX had to say:

Oh, that's right. They didn't say anything.

why should they say anything
the distortion wasnt intentional
anyone that has ever resized a photo can see what caused the distortion
you, however, are an IDIOT

Yellowed teeth? Lowered hairline? Darken eyes? These were caused by "resizing"? Seriously? You might want to take another look. No one can possibly be that stupid. It just isn't possible.

USA TODAY's On Politics blog is reporting that David Shuster of MSNBC plans to apologize for saying on the air yesterday that Chelsea Clinton is "being pimped out" by her mother's presidential campaign.
MSNBC apologizes for saying Chelsea Clinton 'being pimped out' - On Deadline - USATODAY.com

Niger Innis, Republican consultant, conservative strategist, National Spokesman for the Congress of Racial Equality, was being interviewed by Gregg Jarrett on MSNBC when his name was slightly misspelled beneath his image. Instead of reading Niger Innis it read…well…****** Innis.
MSNBC Apologizes For ****** Innis Misspelling

What did surprise me was an msnbc.com report, based on Federal Election Commission records, that found 143 journalists had donated to political causes from 2004 through the first quarter of 2007. Of those, 125 had donated to Democrats and liberal causes, 16 to Republicans, and two to both parties
http://www.mercurynews.com/opinion/ci_13342749?nclick_check=1#

One such allegation of misleading balance came from Mark Halperin, political director of ABC News. He stated in an internal e-mail message that reporters should not "artificially hold George W. Bush and John Kerry 'equally' accountable" to the public interest, and that complaints from Bush supporters were an attempt to "get away with ... renewed efforts to win the election by destroying Senator Kerry."

Scott Norvell, the London bureau chief for Fox News, stated in a May 20, 2005 interview with the Wall Street Journal that "Even we at Fox News manage to get some lefties on the air occasionally, and often let them finish their sentences before we club them to death and feed the scraps to Karl Rove and Bill O'Reilly. And those who hate us can take solace in the fact that they aren't subsidizing Bill's bombast; we payers of the BBC license fee don't enjoy that peace of mind. Fox News is, after all, a private channel and our presenters are quite open about where they stand on particular stories. That's our appeal. People watch us because they know what they are getting. The Beeb's (British Broadcasting Corporation) (BBC) institutionalized leftism would be easier to tolerate if the corporation was a little more honest about it”.[32]

The point here is this, your upset about Fox, when all of them have nothing to do with the news in general and are more or less media outlets for various causes now. So to be upset with one network and not point out the flaws of all the others, is that reall fair and balanced?

FOX News really is Comedy Central. They lie, with impunity and distort facts obscenely. FOX News direct their message to semi-literates living in Trailer Parks (the true Conservatives)

Fox News(?) keeps the boobs at the edge of their chair. Is there any wonder our students are falling behind when they and their parents watch this nonsense?
