The problem is that Democrats define the terms "bigotry" "homophobia" and "transphobia" as "disagreeing with the DNC dogma, not as any actual bigotry, and certainly not as any irrational fear, which is what "phobia" means.
Oh, I think most of what you guys have is fear. "Oh, my gosh, that tranny might be peeing right next to a woman, right now!!!"
Frankly, I haven't seen anything from you guys that isn't an irrational fear on this topic.
The Twoparties were never interested in overturning Roe, not the "Democratic" wing, nor the "Republican" wing. That was yet another reason for the Twoparties' hysteria over an outsider becoming president. One of may reasons.
You mean that he might do something completely fucking irrational like stack the courts with nuts? The reason why no one was interested in overturning Roe was that it was a reality-based solution. The abortion laws that it struck down in 1973 were largely being ignored, but there was no movement to repeal them. Women would go into their OB/GYN and get an abortion, the doctor would write down something else on the chart.
It was only an "Issue" after the Evangelicals (which had previously viewed abortion as a "Catholic" thing) needed something to get asses back into pews after Segregation wasn't playing well anymore.
That is laughable. It assumes that the only reason people illegally (or legally) immigrate to the U.S. is for low-paying jobs.
MS 13 gang members, pregnant women, and people from non-Latin American countries who passed through Mexico, are not coming in to work in meat packing plants.
See, we are getting back to irrational fears. How many MS-13 gang members do you think are sneaking in. Best estimates are that there are only 30,000 members full time, 8000 of which are already here. So how many do you think are sneaking in? I guess we could eliminate any Salvadorean with face tatoos from entry.
Most people from non-Latin countries aren't sneaking across the border. They are coming in on tourist visas and melting into the population. Most of them are getting jobs, because that stuff is expensive.
Ah, pregnant women, that's what really scares you, that they'll drop the anchor baby here and the whole family will come over and vote for Democrats.
It's outside the discussion of this board, but if we have an immigration problem, it's because we've refused to fix it for the last 50 years. We have the cutting edge law for 1965.
I've stated this before, my wife is on a visa from China. She's been waiting 8 years for an asylum hearing because she belonged to a non-approved organization in China. They keep approving her work visa every two years, but she has yet to get a hearing. We are circumventing that nonsense by doing a marriage sponsorship. But even then, I have had to submit 200 pages of documentation and pay $4000 in lawyer and application fees, and it will take at least a year to resolve.
