They are changing up as in some counties are refusing to give ANY licenses out...not just not giving them to faggots. That makes it completely legal.

It will take a year or more, but I think that those opposing numbers will come down, as people start to realize the sky won't fall just because gays get married.

I said this on another thread. The day after the Ruling where the Court added a brand new class of just their favorite sexual behaviors (but not polygamy or incest) to the Constitution (a thing only Congress can do), I went to a public event. Mind you, I live in a very liberal area. I was cringing heading in because I knew the place would be full of jubliant liberals dancing around waving rainbow flags. I was stunned to find a sea of long faces. To be sure, there were the more bizarre attendees in a conspicuous minority prancing around with shit-eating (pardon the pun) grins. But the overwhelming majority, Id say around 80%, were walking around looking like their dog just died or someone had sucker punched them in the stomach. This majority's members I caught shooting smokey looks of thinly-veiled disgust at the frolickers.

Again, I've seen the 80% number popping up here against gay marriage on how many threads now? But still, I was pretty stunned to see not the reaction I was expecting. I described it like a party where a bunch of people were drunk but then the fire department showed up and sprayed down everyone, instantly sobering up all but those on the farthest fringes who escaped the reality wash.
