And they are. There are 22,000 gun laws already on the books, and every state has knife laws. Bombs are illegal already. However, none of them are more dangerous than each other if no human touches them. The human is the common element that is the cause, and therefore should be more of the focus than the device or tool.

I always have my K-Bar Fighter handy. Along with my .357 and my 1911... if I had them that is... if I had a Mossberg 590M, it might be in my closet...

Variety is the spice of life, my friend...

Of course, depending on how an intruder might be armed, you don't take a knife to a gun fight...

Besides, if I had those firearms, they wouldn't all be resting in the same place...

Seriously though, I would only keep the wheel gun loaded. The knife I keep handy, mostly because I haven't bothered to put away...
