Mitt Romney, Friend in Need

You guys are just pissy because you can't measure up. How much charitable service have you given your fellow man?

How many lives has Romney ruined looting companies?

I think that Joe Soptic and his dead wife aren't relieved he gave free milk to homeless vets to make up for a bad joke.

None. Because he hasn't "looted" any companies. Joe Soptic, as it turned out, was a LIAR for Barack Obama and the DNC.

Yeah, Romney told woman whose home was submerged to go home and call 211. What a guy...

He gave her the correct advice. Romney is just right too many times. That's what democrats have against him.

That, and also because they apparently don't even understand such concepts as decency and charity. And then they turn around and wonder why people don't like "liberals".
There's nothing "liberal" about their statist views or the pure, naked ugliness of their hatred for anyone who dares to disagree with them.

Still waiting for that extensive list of Barack Obama's personal service to his fellow man...

Barack Obama - the heartless asshole who caused 20,000 non-union Delhpi retirees to lose ALL their health care benefits and up to 70% of their retirement, but managed to find enough money to fully fund the health care benefits and close to 100% of the extravagant retirement benefits for the union workers.

Then the lying asshole tried to shift the blame (as he always does), but a series of Emails proves his involvement.

I don't know why the Republicans are not using this as a campaign issue. Oh, well.

Obama, who is extremely wealthy, ignores the plight of his own family members. If that's how he treats family, one can only imagine the indifference he fells towards total strangers.

Finally, I want to set the record straight for those who claim Romney doesn't care about 47% of the population. These people are incapable of logical thought. Romney was at a fund raiser and talking about his chances of getting elected. He stated that 47% of the voters were receiving government benefits (which is true) and would probably vote for Obama no matter what (which is also true). He never said that he didn't care about the people themselves, but that he couldn't care about their vote since there was nothing he could do to change it. He was smart enough to realize that if he wasted too much time concentrating on these voters, he would lose. Romney was right again.

I see that NO ONE has been able to list any good or kind charitable thing that Obama has done with his own resources.
Whether you would vote for him or not, why do you feel the need to denigrate the man personally? Is the only way you think Obama can win is to demonize Romney?

That's been the plan since before they even knew which candidate would emerge from the Republican primary. It's all they've got, except Obama's record of spectacular FAILURE. They can't admit that Romney is a good and decent man, a man so modest that these examples of his personal kindness must be gleaned from friends and family. We've barely got the surface of it, because practicing Mormons typically consider charitable works as something to be done in anonymity. It's taken the people surrounding him to say, "hey, we're not going to let your opponents paint you out to be a bad person".

And what kind of monsters would do that to a guy who will roll up his sleeves and help dig out a stump, or comfort a dying teenager, or save a family and their dog from drowning?

Time for a little bump to remind people that Barack Obama isn't half the man Mitt Romney is and the the "rich white guy" meme is NOT supported by facts.

RIght! And while at Bain Capital he made millions upon millions from robbing and raiding pension funds from workers and killing jobs and sending them overseas while he invest (ZERO) captial.
Keep the blinders on you fool.

At Bain Capital, he saved about 80% of troubled businesses that would not have survived on their own. Outfits like Bain are the last chance for businesses who can no longer compete and who can't get their hands on enough capital to save themselves. It's actually a GREAT record of success. Bain isn't a social service, that much is true. But their investors ARE people with pension funds, as well as charities and hospitals, etc. It's WIN/WIN. 80% of businesses bought by Bain are saved and investors put some cash in their retirement funds. Mitt Romney is just George Bailey with a slightly different job description.

Just had to bump this again. Here are some women who have worked with Mitt Romney, out on the trail with Ann, testifying to how committed he is to women succeeding in the workplace and just how generally compassionate and kind he is.

"We know he cares about women, about making the economy work for women," Ann Romney said.

She pointed out Gillespie, who worked with Romney at the Salt Lake City Olympic Games and then followed him to Massachusetts, where she served as a counselor while Romney was governor.

And Ann Romney talked about three other members of Romney's governing team in Massachusetts: Ellen Herzfelder, environmental affairs secretary; Beth Lindstrom, secretary of consumer affairs and business regulation; and Renee Fry, deputy chief of staff.

"Mitt put women in key leadership positions to help create job growth, cut regulations, red tape, make energy affordable and turn around the economy," Ann Romney said.

In interviews, the women provided snapshots of their time with Romney.

cont... Romney kind to women, ex-aides say

Read the whole article. Each of these ladies share an anecdote describing some act of kindness above and beyond what one might expect from a coworker. Heck, one lady said he and his boys showed up at 9 o'clock one night to move her furniture into her house after a move

Mitt Romney is NOT the "rich, selfish, white guy" that Democrats make him out to be. And they keep putting that lie out there because they know that if average voters were to actually find out more about him, both his skill-set and his personal generosity, they'd like him.. and they'd vote Romney.
