Involuntary commitment is one of the ways to get put on the no buy list for guns…….the Maine shooter was involuntarily committed in New York, but the leftist god,”government,” didn’t put his name on the no buy list…..as well as failing to use current laws to keep him from murdering people….

There are already gun laws that could have stopped Robert Card. His involuntary commitment to the New York mental health facility should have prevented him from purchasing a rifle.

The Times reports, "Any involuntary commitment should have been reported to a national database that would have prevented Mr. Card from passing the background check required to buy guns from a licensed dealer. Officials have said that Mr. Card’s name was not in the database and that he purchased guns legally after his hospital stay."

The family tried to stop him and failed. The military did everything it could to prevent the shooting and also failed. Local police may have done more, but they're not soothsayers. They knew Card was a danger but had few options because the U.S. Constitution placed limits on what actions they could take.

Government isn't the answer. They don't fix anything. One of their actual jobs is to provide for the security of our people and they're a total failure at that. If overspending was a national goal, this government would be close to 100%. We should be shrinking the size and budget of our government NOW, before we get to the point where we're forced to do it. MAGA

Robert came out of the Military and not one comrade noticed a trace of any mental problems . Same with family and friends .
He had been an Arms Instructor and was so brilliant that he invented a way of committing suicide that permits the perp to fire two shots into his own head .

The official narrative is beyond silly and amateur .
.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Clearly a Faked incident and it is very likely that Card was a CIA asset and the body was not even him .

Nah, he was so well trained that the double-tap was pure instinct.

Jokes aside he could have installed a binary trigger.....Other than the weapon being described as a 7.62 X 51 Ruger SFAR we do not know what the trigger set-up was and as far as I know the the SFAR will take any type of AR trigger you want to put in it.

With a binary trigger you get to fire a round with the pull and release of the trigger.

Here is one such example.

So... the NRA lobbies for gun laws and background checks that are so weak a crazy person can easily get a gun.
And then blames weak laws and background checks when they inevitably fail.

That's brilliant.

So simple enough solution. Let the gun industry do what the banks do. They can run the background checks themselves, but then they are held liable when a gun gets into the wrong hands.

Seems like a pretty elegant solution.

Not that there was ever any doubt in my mind but damn you are couple of cans shy of a six-pack. 😐

Enjoyable post .

Miles Mathis pins his alleged perps almost every time by researching the family trees and finding the same patterns -- Jewish , wealth , historical "royal" bloodlines, military background and CIA proximity .
Same modus operandi .
Though in the case of the dead children from Uvalde none could be located on any official record as even having existed .

Will be interesting to see if these alleged 18Maine victims even existed .

Maine shooter was involuntarily committed in New York,

And why was he able to pass an ATF background investigation?

It can only be because NY failed to report this IC to the NICS database.

Oh, but we need more laws!!!

They are not weak, the government simply can't do anything right....but, an idiot like you wants them to be your only protection from actual violent criminals.

What we need is a free phone app, that anyone can use that connects to the NICS system. It doesn't keep track of checks, it just gives a yes or no if the individual being checked has a criminal history or mental health hold.....

That is all we need, but you assholes won't support it because you only goal with background checks is to get guns registered so you can later ban and confiscate them...

There's a little thing called HIPAA, which is probably why mental health professionals aren't keen on doing what you say.

Cars have been registered for decades.. no one has confiscated them yet.

Yet, being the operative word, as the democrats make war on gas powered cars...you doofus.

HIPPA doesn't apply to involuntary committment....and putting them on the prohibited list.
