Chicago, Chicago, that Toddling Town
No one is talking about this, so I will.

Romney won. He beat the Crazy Person by a whole 194 votes. He got less than 40% of the vote in a state he won four years ago. 2190 votes this time compared to 2837 he got in 2008. So once again, his performance is less than stellar...

Seriously, GOP, are we really going to go there?

They don't have any good choices. Their only hope is a brokered convention with someone like Jeb Bush coming out of it.

Wait...Romney's camp already had a reason for these low turnout elections...the voters are all comfortable with him as the nominee so they don't bother showing up.

Maybe Romney needs to hire the former Iraqi INformation Minister as his Campaign spokeman.

That would be more your speed. Del nailed you. just get over it. Learn from it.

NO, guy, I'm not going to "get over it".

Romney is probably not only going to lose an election that was probably winnable, he's going to end up losing the House on the GOP. Worse than that, he's going to make it a lot tougher for the next guy to pick up the pieces.

If Evangelicals decide they've had it with the GOP, the GOP is done.

Who is "The Crazy One" and why is he crazy?

Can you explain or are you just parroting what the TV tells you?

Romney won what? No delegates were selected, it was only a straw vote and not everybody had voted yet. It was just a public relations exercise. Romney could get sandbagged here when the delegates for the national convention are elected later. That is, in your words, "the Crazy One's" plan.

Ron Paul is Romney's dog. Ron Paul couldn't win over the kookie state of Maine that acts like it is part of Canada, so there is no hope.

All the talk about the low GOP turnout ignores many GOPers that only vote in the real election vs Democrats and the moderates that will vote for Romney but aren't part of the GOP process right now.

And doing what, with no funding or campaign apparatus. We saw how well that worked for democrats in ’68 and ’72, which is why nominees are determined well before the convention.

You were right in your first sentence: they have no good choices.

Disagree, in part.

Yes, the GOP needs to just ‘let Obama score’ in 2012, and come back in 2016 when the question is not if the next president will be a republican, but who will be the republican president come 2017.

The tables will be turned in 2016, where the democrats will have no good choices of their own.

I also don't see the GOP losing the House.

Ummmm. yeah. Those Romney "moderates" we keep hearing about.

Ummmmm, where are they exactly?
