Biden wins the SC primary with much less votes than he got in 2020 1

today Biden wins the South Carolina democratic primary with over 95 % of the vote ! thats a huge win right ? but what many dont know is that he ran against unknowns and even though he won he got less than half the votes he got in the 2020 SC primary ! right now with 80% reporting he got just a little over 110 thousand so far ! in 2020 he got 262 thousand votes and he was running against a well known very popular socialist named Sanders who got over 100 thousand votes ! so Biden is basically running by himself and gets half the votes in 2024 than he got in the state he won in the 2020 primary ! folks thats BIG ! dems designated SC as the 1st primary state and bypassed Iowa in a historic move to kick off Bidens bid for reelection and he gets only half the votes he got in 2020 ! this can only mean one thing ! voters arent motivated to turn out and vote for the incumbent ! and yes there was huge mass mail in votes allowed during the primaries before the general because of covid ... is that one of the reasons Biden didnt get many votes in the state that won him the nomination in 2020 ! or is it that his policies have left voters unmotivated to show up and support him in the same numbers they did in 2020 .. it may be both !

I dont think it means much, it might just mean fewer people believed voting would matter since he was obviously going to.win against two unknowns. Outsiders are forbidden in the Dem Party.

2016 South Carolina presidential primary
Republicans - 738,000 votes
Democrats - 370,000 votes

2020 South Carolina presidential primary
Republicans - ZERO
Democrats - 539,000 votes

2024 South Carolina presidential primary
Republicans - PENDING
Democrats - 130,000 votes

There was no GOP primary in 2020, they went to caucus instead.

So Democrats got 539,000 votes in the 2020 primary but only got 130,000 votes in the 2024 Democrat primary?

Biden is going to get the primary almost everywhere easy peasey.

He is going to be the one running for president. They already wrapped it up and assume it's going to be a slam dunk. That's why they have had no real debates, last year he was talking as if he would be the front runner, and no one significant has challenged him or really been recognized as a contender for the democratic party.

He has proven himself willing to push agendas of the world economic forum, the UN, the who, black rock, central banks and so on. He funds the wars to make people rich, he props up the big companies that donate to them, he pushes social agendas that weaken our nation and so on.

Everyone who stands to gain something from him being president is making it happen. So expect no competition in state primaries.
