John Wayne on liberals

That theres different depths to Religious thought in Government =/= Religions are the forefront practioners of collectivism.

Literally.

Their conformity to said Religions meets the exact textbook definition.

Color it how youd like.

The difference is voluntary vs coerced.

Only man imprisons, God made us free.

Collectivists first convinced us that they were a god, and when that no longer worked they convinced us that they spoke for God, then when that no longer worked they convinced us that there was no God, thus making themselves the ultimate authority again.

I guess now they will revert back to speaking for God via Islam.

No...no.....Obama is god.....

Wait...no....government is god!

And, what follows....

"Gemeinnutz geht vor Eigennutz" ("The community comes before the individual") concretizes the collectivist belief that individuals have no rights and that "the greater good" is the only standard of value. Under such a system, man is not an end to himself, only a tool to be sacrificed for the Führer, autocrat or ruling mob.

Only capitalism regards man as a sovereign individual with an inalienable right to his own life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. Government recognition and protection of individual rights is the hallmark of a moral, peaceful, productive society."

An actor playing a part.

Just like St. Reagan.

Funny thing, actors make better Presidents than lawyers seem to be.

Man do I hate lawyers. Especially after seeing what they have done to this country.

Playing a hero is not being a hero.
Promoting unrealistic hero worship is a disservice to all, especially children.
Kids should see "Saving Private Ryan" before "Sands of Iwo Jima".
why? Because a liberal school teacher was the hero?
A liberal school teacher? Is that what you got out of it? Is that to say all school teachers are necessarily liberal? Are you so confused that you think this poster subscribes to pre-packaged ideologies?
Back to film comparisons; 'Ryan' because of the realistic battle scenes where guts are spewed and dying men cry and call for their mother. Where the enemy is shown as something other than vermin to be exterminated. Where there is presentation of nuance to thinking and action.
Where human nature is exposed and explored intelligently.

God Damn it

If you botherd to watch the movie it had so much of a liberal propaganda in it

Didn't tell the real story

It strikes me that the same crap liberals pulled in John Wayne's day they are still doing today.

Liberals have not changed. They are just the same old tired movement, so why do they call themselves "Progressive"?

John Wayne was a drunk chain smoker and an extreme NeoClown/racist. I guess Republican's haven't changed either...they're still dickheads.

Religion is collectivist. God told younwhat to do, how to behave under fear of punishment and you listened and feel shame and confess when you dont, collectivist.

History has shown Wayne was wrong on the issues of the day......he was wrong on VietNam, failed to support civil rights or women's right

"There's been no top authority saying what marijuana does to you. I really don't know that much about it. I tried it once but it didn't do anything to me."
- John Wayne

"Life is tough, but it's tougher if you're stupid."
John Wayne

"All I'm for is the liberty of the individual."
John Wayne

"When I was a sophomore at USC, I was a socialist, pretty much to the left."
John Wayne

"I've loved reading all my life."
John Wayne

Seems like a liberal to me. :)

John Wayne being some sort of folk hero for the right because of his Hollywood designed image is indicative of those who believe it's lack of depth of thought and questioning.

Intellectual curiousity is some lame university speak to these kinds of hard headed 'I refuse to learn what I dont believe' ass holes.
why are you liberals even trashing him? Because you think everything is a myth?

You guys really need to learn the difference between fiction and real life.

What you see on the screen is not necessarily what happened in real life. And, from his made up name to the rest of his persona, John Wayne was not real.

Or what the media brainwashes people into thinking. I mean, for years the world was told that Hitler was openly hostile towards Jesse Owens, until Owens, who returned to a segregated country after being the Nazis' guest, reported the complete opposite: Hitler shook his hand and congratulated him on his success in front of his staff officers. He [Owens] was also allowed to lodge with White people in whichever hotel he pleased.

That's right, Hitler had compassion and class. Shame on liberals for believing all those fables about Auschwitz.

Now you know damn well that the liberal beta culture could care less about the alpha male mentality of the Duke and his republican counterparts.
