CDZ John kasich the Next President of the United States thread

Kasich implemented Obamacare in Ohio. The teabaggers won't forgive that.

They forgve romneycare for creating Obamacare, so I bed to differ. Plus, the medicaid money was already spent. Might as well get your state it's tax dollars back. Plus, the majority of republican senator and house reps supported the same thing, but wanted political cover so some didn't pull the trigger. Ohio's medicaid program is the best in the nation.
anyone involved in wasting millions and millions of US taxpayers' dollars to impeach over a blow job will never get past Go

Again, Kasich is not going to be president – he is not qualified to be president.

Had you bothered to research his record, you'd learn he is not qualified because he is hostile to the equal protection rights of gay Americans, hostile to the privacy rights of women, and hostile to Establishment Clause jurisprudence, where the First Amendment clearly prohibits conjoining church and state.

Consequently, his judicial appointments would reflect his ignorance of, and contempt for, the Constitution and its case law, the rule of law, and the rights of millions of Americans; someone so hostile to the civil rights of the American people is indeed unqualified to be president.

You think you are making some big point, but you aren't. Kasich is by far the most qualified and experienced. Everything we need done as a nation he has done. You can't argue with those facts. Read, between the lines. Most of America will.

You think most Americans will read between the lines?

You think most Americans are ok with his hostility towards equality of gays?
You think most Americans want religious squabbling in the schools?

Get a grip. Kasich is far from the best. And if he WERE the best the GOP could put up, the Dems would be a shoe-in for 4 more years.

Not at all. Nobody has Kasich's accomplishments at the federal, state , local and business level of ALL the candidates including Hilary. Period. There's no debating that. The most important thing? He's VERY likable by everybody including blacks an minorities. He'll have full backing of foxnews. Bring it on.

Kasich does what MANY GOPers fail to do. Connect with the less fortunate. Minority groups. His stances are among popular opinion. Even the medicaid decision. He will carry Ohio and is the only candidate proven that he can. That holds huge weight.

There are polls showing between 48% and 55% of the population has no problem with gays. Kasich obviously does and is willing to use his power to stop them from marrying and adopting. That speaks volumes, not just about gays but about his views on those who are different.

he speaks often about his religious beliefs and pushes for prayer in schools. I see no reason to support a theocracy. Yeah, that may be a bit of an over-reaction, but I have lived in the bible belt too long to see it otherwise.

Romney's a White Republican.

2000 presidential election

Kasich did not seek re-election in 2000, but instead decided in February 1999 to form an exploratory committee to run for President. After very poor fundraising, Kasich dropped out in July 1999, even before the Iowa Straw Poll, and endorsed Texas Governor George W. Bush.

John Kasich - Wikipedia the free encyclopedia

He's got some negative GOP baggage including the Walker type failed union busting scheme and also the medicaid expansion which he changed his mind on and decided to let it happen in Ohio.

Our Mayor here in Toledo had more success in handling the water crisis last summer. I wouldn't get too enthusiastic about Kasich were I you.

Again nobody cares about the gays to make gay marriage and issue in this election. Jobs and economy will be by far. Nice try.

How nice of you to define the terms of the election for far in advance. I guess that does make it easier for you to claim Kasich is the best.

But those videos will certainly be all over before the primaries. He'll be trying to be the candidate of the "common man" and will have to explain why he said he doesn't need "your people" to the black caucus and why he limited what a rape counsellor is allowed to say. Such compassion.

In a presidential election, everything will be exposed and under a microscope. The fact that he fails to respect the rights of all Americans will speak to more than those he wants to ignore.

You missed my point he does care about rights. However, what you and clayton said will never be exposed. He'll never have to answer for it.

JUDICIAL REVIEW SAID:

"You missed my point he does care about rights."

Clearly not.

And again: you've failed to research his position on the issues or you're willfully ignorant of his position on the issues.

Or, like Kasich, you also advocate denying gay Americans their equal protection rights and women their privacy rights, in which case both you and Kasich are equally wrong.

Gay right are minimal in this discussion since that topic wont be a significant factor. So, just throw it out the window. Woman privacy rights, they like a man who's likable. They will vote for him for that reason. Also, his stance on schools. Don't worry clayton, he will do America proud once again.
